How about one more embossed card for Lawnscaping Challenges? I had already made this one and am not sure if I like it or not. What do you think?
I had the damnedest time trying to edit this photo so who the proper colors. I think it is still of, but not sure what else to do. This is one of my biggest challenges with my cards, is taking good photos. I suppose that means a photography class, but no time right now.
I know it is a little early for the holiday's but I really wanted to use the snow/embossing pen I have (I don't know the name of it) on some trees and see what the effect is. It could have been a little more uniform, but then again, maybe that makes it look real. I don't know.
Meanwhile, I wanted to let you know that another one of my fave stamp company's, Paper Smooches, is having a blog hop. They have some fun stuff, so check it out if you like.
Thanks for popping in!

Adventure Bound!
Hi Again!
Here is another entry for the Lawnscaping Challenge #34, which is all about embossing. I don't know if you noticed, but I love Lawn Fawn and Lawnscaping Challenges! In fact, LF has a new release of several sets and they are having a contest to win those stamps. Check it out if you want, but if you don't...well...that just means I have better chance of winning! heh-heh... ;)
Anyway, take a closer look and check out the wording on the Polaroid picture, see how it just pops out! Now I have to admit that this isn't an original idea, the DP came this way, but I love the idea of embossing part of something. It gives the paper a bit of a rugged look, maybe even a bit antique. So fun! I think I'll be trying this on lots of things going forward and hope you do too!
Best to you and thanks for stopping!

To die for!
Isn't this little gnome just to die for?! I just love how cute he is, in fact I bought this stamp set just for him! I made this for my local barrista (yes, I drink that much coffee that I know her that well) who also likes garden gnomes. She hasn't been well and I thought this little guy might perk (no pun intended) her up a bit. :)
While I am at it though, I thought I might enter it in the current Lawnscaping Challenge which is all about embossing. For the longest time, I didn't know there were two types of embossing, dry and wet. I don't know how to explain them, but this is dry, done with my big-shot, wet involves ink, embossing powder and a heat gun. I like both, they really have a different look, but I think dry is my favey-fave.
Anyway, thanks for stopping and check out the challenge, so much fun! Oh and to Bridget- GET BETTER!
Happy Memorial Day weekend to all!
