Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hello!  Happy Spring Coffee Lovers Bloghop!!!!   I am a little late in joining in on the fun today, but I am here none the less.  I am excited!

Here is my card for today!

I had so much fun making this card!  The first cool point is that I used this fun coffee stamp from Stamps & More.  You can't see the labels ont he cup, but I checked the one that says, "shot of joy."  What's even better is that I got this stamp from my friend, and our fabulous hostess, Amy Tsuruta! (Thanks girl!) The sentiment is from Impression Obsession.  I stamped it inside a word bubble from Lawn Fawn.  All the papers and journal cards are from Fancy Pants Design's True Friend collection. I put a piece of a paper straw in behind the cup and love that touch.  Lastly, the fun sequins are from the last coffee lovers blog hop- I won them from Annette Allen of My Clever Creations.  I love this mix of sequins, so fab!

This hop wouldn't be this hop with out a huge line up of fabulous sponsors.  There are "flash sponsors" that are doing flash giveaways. Lookie here:

Stuck on you

I have made so many cards that I never posted.  Other things too.  I am making it my mission to share some of those things, even if they are not in season.

Here are the Valentines treats that my daughter and I made for her class.

I have to tell you getting the hearts in the packaging with out ripping them was hard, until we figured out the trick!  You load one into the top and leave it there so the opening of stays propped open, then you just keep feeding them in until they fill the entire tube.

We made 35 of these bad boys. I cut and stamped the tiny toppers and she colored them.  Well, I did color a few, I do love coloring and couldn't resist!  It was very fun to do.  The sentiments are very punny... "so charming!"...."you are sweet!"... "stuck on you!"... and more.  The last one is my favorite with the glue bottle.  Obviously, I used an assortment of products, including Sweet Stamp Shop to Lawn Fawn and even some Penny Black.

So that is all today, just want to get these things shared. :)

Happy FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dapper Dan

Happy Thursday friends!  Are you ready for another fun Fusion Challenge?  I sure am!  Here goes...............................................

Do you love that inspiration or what?!  The colors, the bowties, the sketch- fun filled!

Here is what I made for this challenge, I like to call it Dapper Dan.

I took a little less obvious route on this one and didn't go for the fusion but just let the bowties inspire me.  I started with the PTI sweater in this fun paper.  The orange edes is fun.  The stamped sentiments are also PTI.  I made it look like a name tag and taped it on with washi.  I finished with this Freckled Fawn woodchip bowtie that I colored.  This card makes me smile.

Please head on over to the Fusion blog and see the fun DT creations!

Colour Me Playful- #60

I. LOVE. BRIGHT.

That is what we have ins tore for you this week for Colour Me

I had a ton of fun working on this, these colors were easy for me.  I picked up this scooter a while back from MilkCoffee Digi Stamps.  It was fun to color with my Copics.  I seriously can't get enough of them, they are so smooth to color with.  Behind it I stamped an image from Avery Elle that looks to me like tire treads.  The sentiment is from I.O. and given to me by my friend Kimberly.  I colored the wood stars with my prismacolor pencils and it worked quite well.  The woodchips and enamel stars are both from Freckled Fawn.

Please be sure to visit the other ladies and see their creations.

Monday Blues

It's Monday...and that means I have the blues.  Not the blues you are thinking of, but some beautiful blues from my Copics.

I used a whole lotta PTI products here.  Some circle stamps that I made to look like flowers, some leaves from the one of the flower sets and some dies from one of the make it to market kits.  It was fun to play with. all the different products and color it and add some sequins.

So that is it, just going to keep it brief today.  Thanks for stopping by.

Colour Me #59-

Hi Friends.  Who's ready for another amazing Colour Me challenge?  Here goes.....

Despite the fact that CAS (clean and simple) cards are hard for me, I had a ton of fun making this card.  The stamps are from Reverse Confetti and I really them.  My hubby and family got me some copics for Christmas and I can't get enough of them.  The are so easy to make layers of color and they blend so well.  I love the colors together, I would have never picked them myself but they are fabulous.  I used some Freckled Fawn enamel dots and hearts to finish this off.  I love the final look.

So... head on over to the Colour Me blog and check out the ladies creations.  Or you can hop over to their blogs indivicually. I recommend BOTH! :)

Fusion- Orange, Teal and Brown

Who's ready for a fun challenge?!

ME, ME, ME!!!!

Here it is, this week's fabulous Fusion Challenge:

This week, I made not one but TWO cards.  Wahoo!

This first card features SU! Cardstock and some DP from Fancy Pants.  I coupled that with my brand new Shooting Star stamp set from Mama Elephant.  I had so much fun paper piecing this and coloring it.  I have to tell you that this looks a bit like my little girl.  She carries a sweet little blue bear named...wait for it...Blueberry.  This card, like my daughter, melts my heart!

Next I have another featuring more SU! products.  The cardstock, the stamps and ribbon.  There is also a little Fancy Pants in this one too.  I've done my coloring with my Copics and a whole lot of fussy cutting.  The sentiment is from PTI and I LOVE the glittery enamel dots from Freckled Fawn.

Told you I was ready for the challenge.  :)  YOUR TURN!  Head on over to Fusion and get inspired.

Thanks and have a great day!

Colour Me Striking #58

Have you been caught up in the in valentines fever?  The world is dripping red and pink right now so you might as well eh?! ;)   If not, I have just the thing for you...

Check out this STRIKING Colour Me challenge!

My response...nothing says loving like Cherry Cobbler and Pink Pirouette!

These roses are an older embossing folder from Stampin' Up!  I have embossed it on white and again on velum.  I colored the roses in with my Copics and SU! markers so that it woudl show through the velum.  I trimmed along the top of the embossed image so the Cobbler paper would peak through the top.  I then added a few Neat and Tangled Sequins and a Simon Says Stamp "hello" die cut.  I love the final, I am pleased with how the flowers turned out.

Time to go check out the Colour Me blog and the other lovely DT creations.

Ahoy There- CCMC #57

Hello Friends!  Welcome to another awesome Colour Me Challenge!

But before we get right to it, did you see last week's entries!  WOW!  So many amazing cards it was so hard to chose just one.

This week should be fun and on so challenging as we play with a monochromatic palette.  Here it is:

This week I made a fun card for you with an aquatic theme.  When I see navy I automatically go there.  I dug out this die (that I had yet to use!!!) and I couldn't help but think of fish scales, it reminded me of the book Rainbow Fish.  Consequently, my daughter brought the book home a day or so after I made this card and it was perfect timing.  If you have kids, I recommend this read, it is lovely and a good lesson about sharing and being kind. Back to the card below. The main die is from Stampin' Up!  I like to think of each little
piece as a fish scale, the glitter makes it seem real.  It was fun to assemble them as differing dimensions and with different neutral colors. The sentiment on the tag is from Amuse stamps and the anchor is from Studio Calico.  I hope you likey and I hope you check out this great book.

NOW...head over to the main blog for the rules and see all the great creations the other ladies made.
