Two Paper Divas Tuesday

Are you ready to celebrate?  I am... because today is MY birthday!  Yay!

So, I thought this would be an appropriate card to share on this day.

This features Two Paper Divas newly released set Way to Go.  This is so fun and can be used for sooooo many occasions. Graduation, Wedding, Birthday, you name it!  I colored this fun sign in with my Copics and I love how the color just pops out from the Simple Stories Journal card and the We R Memory Keepers DP.

Now do me a favor and have a FABULOUS day!

Thanks for visiting!

Christmas Coffee

Update, I am a dork and shouldn't have entered this into the summer themed coffee hop.  Will be removing. :)

Hi!  Just wanted to share a quick post today with another card for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I know the theme is summer, but I had to go a little rogue!

This features that same Two Paper Divas sets that I used in my last post (Coffee on the Go and Keep Calm and Drink). BUT, I did shake it up a little by going with a Christmas Vibe!  Check it!

I have to admit, making this holiday card in June was really fun!  I did a ton of paper piecing here with Different DPs.  But obviously (other than the coffee), that sparkly poinsettia is the start of the show.

Super fun and happy t be joining the hop again!

Thanks for visiting!

Sunday Stamps, for the boys

Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's out there.  This week by creation for Sunday Stamps is dedicated to you.

Here is what I made using the colors (I realized after the fact it was more gray than blue, but oh well).

Many of you men like beer (at least my husband and father do) so I made a fun beer bottle tag.  The die is from PTI.  I used my SU! embossing folder to create te chevron look.  I stamped this Tim Holtz blue print stamps, colored with my Copics and cut it out.  I added some enamel dots from Doodlebug Designs.

Cheers to all you Dads!

NOw, if only I could eat ice cream.... mmm.... :)

Life is Good

Hi Friends!

I wanted to share a fun card with you I made specifically to work with this sheet of paper from the Carta Bella Beach Day pad that I got from The Heart Desires Store. I simply couldn't resist using this paper with my Lawn Fawn Polaroid die!  Once I had my base, DP and polaroid I went straight to my Life is Good Stamp Set, what could be more perfect.  As you know I love coloring with my Copics.  I finished this off with some twine and this fun beach ball flair from American Crafts.

I couldn't be more happy with this card and plan to give it to my lovely Daddy for Father's Day.  I think he will love it.  I mean doesn't it just make you smile?!

MFT, Pure Innoncence

Today turned out to be a beautiful day today!  Perfect for a little gardening if you have a yard to do so.  I don't, so I made this gardening card instead so that I could join the My Favorite Things Color Challenge.   Here is the color palette I played with.

Here is my creation:

I used the Pure Innocence set.  This little sweetie pie is so cute.  It was easy to use these colors by using my Copics.  I used some fun DP and Cardstock to match.  Loved coloring this darling little girl, reminds me of my own daughter.

That's all today.  Have a Bloomin' Good Day!

Check out these two fun new sets from Two Paper Divas- Cool Treats and Here's the Scoop!  And guess what?!  They are currently on SALE!  You are gonna want these in your basket to help battle the heat!

Here is what I did.  Started with my green Cardstock (SU!).  Added some delicious DP from Heidi Swapp (eek, I can't remember!)  I added lots of layers, including die cutting the journal card with my LF die.  I colored and added my Popsicles finishing them off with Glossy Accents.  They really do look good enough to eat!

Ducky- Sunday Stamps

Sunday is here!  The only thing that could make this day of the week better would be having every other day be Sunday.  Come on, you know I am right!

One of the fabulous things about this day is that I get to share my creations for the Sunday Stamps team.  This week we worked with this fun and versatile sketch.

Here is my creation for this week:

OK, admittedly when I saw this duck set I squealed at the cuteness.  True Story.  I mean who could resist this sweet little duckling and all his friends (SugarPea Designs).  Now couple that with some fun balloons (Lil Inker) and bright and bold papers (We R Memory Keepers) and you have yourself a spectacular combo.  I mean, who could resist this?

Here is a close up of that sweet little duckling.

Please head on over to Sunday Stamps and check out all the creations and join the challenge.  I truly can't wait to see what you make.

TPD Saturday- Recipe for Style

Today I have the perfect ingredients to make the perfect card for that shoe lover in your life (aka any woman you know). You don't need much, just start with the basics.

Cardstock and designer paper, stamps, black ink & markers and adhesive

Now that you have your ingredients together, you can get cooking! ;)  Here's how:

First, get your Two Paper Divas You've Got Style stamp set ready.  It has some fun and flashy designer type shoes that almost any girl would love. Stamp it on white using your Misti for perfect alignment.  Then, add a dash of color/s of choice by selcting your papers and coloring in your shoes.  used the current ColorQ Challenge palette.  (My Coral may be off, but this was the closest I had)  Then I picked a layout I liked (this one from my head).  Add all the ingredients together and mix it up and wallah!

OK, so I am being a dork, but isn't this set fun?!  I really enjoyed coloring the shoes and working with this pallete.  This really is a fun Two Paper Divas set.

I encourage you to head on over to the TPD Blog and shop to see what they have to share.  Thanks for visiting today!

All the Little Things

Just had to ink up so I could link up for the fun challenge!  Inspired by All the Little Things rocked my boat with this photo.

Isn't it so pretty! Here is what I was inspired to make:

I used the Let's Chat set from Concord and 9th that I picked up over at The Heart Desires Store.  It was so fun to use this set with these old patterned papers from SU! because they give the impression of delicate china.  I also used a die from SU! to create this gleaming golden spoon.  And yet my fave part of this card is the green CS strip with the stamps from Studio Calico, mainly because it reminds me of lavender (and I am instantly calm- lol)!

OK, thanks for visiting me today!  Have a great weekend!

The Heart Desires Challenge #1

There is a new challenge in town and it is going to be FABULOUS!  When you glance down at the challenge pic you are going to see what I mean....

Pretty amazing right?!  The colors, the images, all of it!  The masterminds behind it all are the girls over at The Heart Desires Store.

I couldn't get enough of the whale in the lower left and love the colors, so here is what I made for the challenge?

Had so much fun making this.  I started with the Waves embossed paper and used my distress inks to add the various layers of blue.  I even came back in and added blue splatter.  I stamped the sentiment from Lia Griffith/Hero Arts set.  This heart die from Simon Says Stamp was colored with Copics in ombre to make the orange go from dark to light.  Next, I stamped and cut this whale from Avery Elle.  I used my Copics to add the gradient of blue and even added some spots to the tummy.  I added Wink of Stella as a final touch for a wee bit of shimmer.

Supplies:
Cardstock- SU!
Stamps- Avery Elle, Hero Arts Lia Griffith Happy Day
Ink- Hero Arts Intense Black , Ranger Distress Inks
Other- Next Level Embossing Folder- WavesWink of Stella, Simon Says Stamp Die, Copics

I do hope you feel inspired and will come and join us for this challenge!  The rules are easy:
