TPD- Little Things Make Life BIG!

All those little things in life, they add up to all that good we all experience every day.  The kisses from our kids and spouses, the sea spray, the shinning sun... all wonderful.  I'd love for you to share one little thing in your life that you think is wonderful and makes life big....

One more thing that is wonderful to me, stamps, of all kinds, I love them!

One Scoop or Two?- TPD

Hey Y'all.  Did you have fun checking out that Ellen Huston hop with the new release?  I sure did!

Today I am back with more new stamps from this month's Two Paper Divas release.  This set is called Banana Split.  So yummy looking!

This stamp is so fun to color, I used my Copics and a touch of glitter to make it sparkle.  I stamped it on a tag and then fussy cut and mounted the image with dimensionals.  I used some Gingham paper and the fun pink twine as accents followed by the enamel stars from Freckled Fawn. Here's the Scoop set makes the perfect pairing.

Now.... here are my creations- eek!  First up, is my card using Sock Monkey Surprise & matching Sock Monkey Surprise dies designed by the fabulous Kimberly Wiener! 

Isn't this set so cute!!!!  So playful and perfectly fun.  It is ideal for paper piecing.  I used some Simple Stories paper with hearts for the belly and kite.  It reminds me of my daughter's sock monkey.  The Avery Elle Scalloped Frame dies are perfect around the outside.  Some Basic Grey enamel dots and timeless twine make the perfect finishing touches. 

 Next up, you'll see my card featuring the new Sunshine Word die by amazing Julie Ebersole.  It also includes the Stay Golden set and Stay Golden dies. 

With black paper as the base of this creation, I needed something bright to pop off the page.  So I chose to use the Stay Golden stamps and dies.  I used the rock & roll technique to pick up some yellow orange and a little pink for my pineapple.  I love the way the colors turned out, the perfect platform for the Sunshine Word dies.  I doubled layered these for extra impact.  Some washi, twine and more enamel dots finished it off.

TPD Sunday- Hope Anchors

Happy Sunday!  I am here today sharing one of my Two Paper Divas creations for the August release, Anchors the Soul. 

Here's what I made using this fab new set:

I started with some Navy Paper and then pulled out a piece of light blue.  I used and Avery Elle die to emboss the edges of this sheet.  I adhered a journal card envelope to the front, on which I stamped the anchor stamp.  I used my prismacolor blue pencil to color the rope.  The gold stars are Teresa Collins and perfect for the nautical theme. I made my own journal card with some Authentique paper, I stamped the sentiment and added the sea birds from Sail Away set form TPD.  You can see a close up of my journal card below. 

So fun to make this nautical creation that will hopefully help lift someone's spirits on a hard day.

ALOHA!  Welcome to Maui, 2nd largest of the Hawaiian Islands and home to Haleakalā Crater!  One of my fave places to visit on Maui.   But don't worry, we have no eruptions planned for today.... just a party.  Here is my card to Ms. Amy. 

This card features some MFT stamps that I actually borrowed from Amy.  I thought it fitting to create a card for her using this.  I colored with my Copics and fussy cut out all these bits and layered them to create this nice scene in hopes of transporting Amy to tropical paradise.

TPD Wednesday- More Candles

Some people might say that lots of candles on a cake mean old age.  Are you buying this?  Not me, I subscribe to Two Paper Divas philosophy, which is, "The more candles the bigger the wish!"  Are you with me now?!

Check out this fun stamp from the July release.  It is such a fabulous stamp and wants to be nothing if not front and center. 

In addition to the More Candles stamp, my creation features some We R Memory Keepers paper, lots of it to coordinate together.  The candles are the ideal background for this stamp.  I used lots of layers to make everything pop out.  I also added a small cupcake from a die (PTI) and Doodlebugs enamel dots.
