MORE Sneak Peak!

OK, so more, yes you said it, more new stamp sets featured here! There is also some of the new in-color paper, but I am not going to tell you which, you will have to wait a few days to see.

This adorable card uses the new Heard from the Heart stamp set. This is the word set at the bottom of the page. Also- there is a new scallop edge punch that is coming out- LOVE THIS!

now this next card is rather creative with the scallop punch. It also features a new hostess set- Window Dressing. It features several accessories that can be placed in/around the window.

And then, there are the adorable sock monkeys. To be honest, I don't really care for sock monkey's in life. However, I think this set is fabo and I love all the accutremonts that come with it. These cards (although I didn't color the one on the left) were a great use of the watercolor crayons and aqua-painter. Fun.

Finally, these last two don't feature much new stuff. Mine is on the right and does have some of the in-color paper and designer series paper. I also made use of my new star punch which I love. I did use part of the Deer Friends holiday hostess set that says little angel, but you may not be able to see it here.

Sorry for the poor picture quality, I think I would have to invest in a new camera to make these better. Happy Stampin!

Sneak Peak!

So, convention was last week and several ladies in the Seattle area couldn't go. Did we sit around and pout?? NO! We got together and created our own mini-convention. It was no convention but pretty fun none the less. We did some fun projects and a shoebox swap (make a card, cut the paper and bring all ingreedients and instructions, then swap with everyone, you get to make all the cards there)- shown below. What is so great about this other than creating? Well, we got to use some of the new product that is about to come out. So here is a sneak peak for some of the new stamps, paper and ink coming out.

The first card doesn't show anything new, but is super cute, a great use of color and of the tag punches.

The next 3 cards all use the new Bella Rose Designer Series Paper. The reindeer is from a new holiday hostess set called Deer Friends- it is so cute!

The last card (which I show two views of) is so creative. I love how the card unfolds. It uses Dreams du Jour- a must have stamp set. Note- Barbara, who designed this card also makes the most fabulous corn pudding (I think it has like two sticks of butter).

NEW-- Decor Elements!

OK, you have to check out SU!'s new Decor Elements-http://www.stampinup.com/us/enu/11075.asp
they are fabulous! They are self-adhesive vinyl art that work on walls, doors, mirrors, etc. I got take a number and plan to put it up in Sophie's bedroom. (We just moved, so working on that...). They currently come in a few colors but word is there will be more soon so stay tuned. Below are a few pics for examples. ENJOY!!!

Did I mention how much I LOVE the flowers....what would my husband think??? I think he would think anything that makes me happy is fabulous!!! :)

Fun with Glitter

These two cards were very fun to make. I love to play with glitter and make fun accents.
#1-The one on top was for my friend Naceem's Wedding. I helped her make her menus and programs so I knew what her color scheme was- Ivory dress, bridesmaids and ushers in hues of red and green for acents- so those were the colors I went with. She also incorporated the Carte Postal set from Stampin' Up! in her menus and programs, so I used it here. I hope she liked this card, because I love it and think it is beautiful. The glitter just adds that special touch.
Congrats Naceem and Dave! Your wedding was beautiful, the location was fabulous! Sorry we had to leave early to put the baby to bed. We can't wait to see the pics so we know what we missed! XO
#2- This card was for my friend Stacey. I wanted to thank her for help babysit when we really needed someone and also for just being a friend. Sadly, she is moving to California to start up a wine tasting business with a relative (well, not sad for her!). I am going to miss her terribly! :( This card was perfect for her because she loves summer and the sun- I feel that these bright fruits are perfect for that. And of course, the glitter is just fun. LOVE YOU GIRL!
