Fall Fun

Happy Thanksgiving!  I wanted to share an fall card with you because it seems appropriate for today. This card features Whimsy Stamps products.

Isn't he cute!?  He is getting ready for Turkey Day desert which features Salted Caramel Apple Crumble!  YUM!  Actually, we really are having that today, it is going to be delicious!

I made this one by starting with my image from the Bundles of Hugs stamp set (which may have just gone out of stock).  I colored him with Copics, cut him out and set him aside.  I stamped other apples and leaves and colored them too.  I distress ink on the backdrop to make the blue sky.  On that I placed some clouds from the Up in the Couds die set.  I die cut some green grass from the Grass and Cloud Edger set and the brown fence from the Kinetic Curved Hills and added extra distress ink for a little more pop in color.  I placed my squirrel and apples and leaves around the scene.

Pretty cute right?  I like it and hope you do too.  Also hoping you have a super happy Turkey day if you celebrate!

Tweetie Pie

Happy Wednesday!  It is almost Thanksgiving here in the US.  My father will be here, and just a small, safe gathering for us.

Today's card features some fun Whimsy Stamps products.

It is such a sweet card.  For this one, I used the new rubber cling Stamp Pine Bough.  Unfortunately, this is out of stock at the moment, but will return soon.  I stamped it with Antique Linen Distress Ink for no line coloring and used a combo of Copics and Pencils to color it.  I didn't keep it whole, but cut out parts of it because I wanted to make my birds sit in the tree.  The birdies and house are stamped from the Tweetie Pie stamp set.  I aslo used no line coloring technique here and colored with Copics.  I cut them out as well.  All of it is placed on some Tartan Paper which I die cut using the Extreme Postage Die set. Lastly, I used some red ribbon and tied it with some thin gold ribbon.

I think they are pretty darn sweet... er... tweet!  I love the added snow, it just makes it feel cozy in the house.  Oh, and I forgot to mention I added a heart right in the center above the house opening.

Do you think they are as cute as I do? I just want to head out doors and give them some birdseed and cozy materials for their nest.

Tags and More Tags

Happy Sunday!  Yesterday, I went to work making tags for all my families Christmas gifts as I will be giving them to my Father over Thanksgiving to take to them.  I had a lot of work to do.

These all took me about 6 hours. No two the same, although a few are similar style.

This first one has a  Whimsy Stamps tag, a MFT image colored with Copics and an Impression Obsession die for the holly.
This one is inspired by Lisa G with her holly and traditional colors here

These cute gnomies are from Simon Says Stamp.  The DP is recollections and Sunny Studio.  I used a Crafter's Companion tag with some ribbon, twine and a few jingle bells. These are inspired by Michelle Short's tag here

This one features some DP scraps I had in my stash, an MFT die, and I used a SugarPea Designs image (retired) and some ribbon. Inspired by the masculine tags here

How cute is this little one?!  I used a Neat and Tangled Image, a SugarPea Designs die for the circle with Doodlebugs paper and a Lawn Fawn frame die.
This one is inspired by Tracy McNeely's tag and the shape here.

This one is for my niece, who is a tween with her face in her phone a lot.  The phone die and selfie are from Whimsy Stamps, the bear is from MFT and the paper from Doodlebugs.  This one is inspired by Carol Mayne's tag and the colors here

Another SugarPea Designs Die for this cute lantern in red and the DP is LawnFawn.  The image is from MFT (retired I believe) and I used some silver twine and added a silver snowflake charm. Inspired by the shaped tags here

These two cuties are maybe my fave...maybe They feature Ellen Hutson images, One uses a tag from Lawn Fawn, and the other from Crafter's Companion.  I added a sticker hat on my T-Rex. These are inspired by the tags featuring Ellen Hutson here since these feature their stamps.

Rudolph in tandem!  The reindeer and wood frame die are both from Poppy Stamps.  I colored them with some Copics and a blending brush.  Of course, the nose is fuzzy and red. The paper is American Crafts (right) and Pinkfresh Studio (left).  I added twine and a bow to the left one and a holly brad and yarn to the 7right. Inspired by Tenia's reindeer on day 6!

This one is for my Sister-In-Law who loves unicorns.  The image is from Your Next Stamp, colored with Copics. The Paper is Doodlebugs and cut with a Crafter's Companion die.  This one is inspired by Hussena's pink tag here

Next up is a fun Mama Elephant Yeti!  Yay for Yeti!  Colored with Copics on a pre-cut die shape.  I added a hugs sentiment die from MFT and some fun gingham ribbon.  This one is inspired by the tapered bottom tags here

This guy is a Richard Garay image, Copic colored.  The dies and embellishments are from Trinity Stamps.  The DP is Pinkfresh Studios.  Inspired by the long tags here

Last but not least is this fun Cocoa mug from MFT.  I colored it and mounted it on a Lawn Fawn Star, which is mounted on a Doodlebugs DP cut with a SugarPea Die.  The ribbon is SU! and I used some fun twine and sequin ribbon. Inspired by the coffee tags here

Most years I don't make tags, but not being with family this year, I want to tag my gifts, so why not.  And, it allows me to play in the 25 days of Christmas Tags Challenge over on my friend Tracey McNeely's blog, which is super fun.

That's enough for one day I think!  I hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for visiting!

Winter Fairies!- Whimsy Release

Happy almost Friday, best day of the workweek!  I have another fun card for you with Whimsy Stamps latest release.

If you haven't yet met Fairy Grace, she was released earlier this month and is so cute.  I colored her with my pale colored Copics to make this sweet look, cut her out and set her aside.  Next, I used the Blurry Flurries DP, which is so lovely, it inspired my colors, for the backdrop.  I cut it out using the Wavy Pierced Rectangle die set.  What is brand new here, is this super fun Twinkle Scribble die that  I cut this is this light peach color.  I mounted that on the DP, and popped out my fairy on top of that with foam tape.  Then I stamped my sentiment, cut it out and mounted it.  I added some lovely sequins for a nice finishing touch.

I realize, I neglected to share my card featuring Fairy Sweet, so why not put these together.  Fairy Sweet is also from the November release and so cute.  I know I am a broken record, but I love the diversity in these stamps, it makes me happy.

For this card, I started again by stamping and coloring my image.  Ms. Sweet has a bit more blues and greens in her palette.  I cut her and her cute fur seal buddy out and set them aside.  Next, I cut a bit of blue cardstock for my background.  I used my distress ink to add some purple around the edges.  Next, I die cut this awesome Elegant Snowflake and Border Die in some sparkly white cardstock.  I tacked it down and added some more purple around the to edge with my blending brush so it was consistent with my blue.  I mounted this layer on some light purple cardstock as my base.  Next, I stamped the sentiment using purple ink, it is from the Frosty Wishes Stamp set.  Then I came back in and added my images using foam tape.  I added some additional sequins and snowflakes for some extra flair.

Aren't they just too cute?!  They really make my heart melt (the sentiment fits perfectly).

Here are some more awesome projects and products you can expect to see.

I hope you enjoy this release and check it out at Whimsy!

Each Otter- CLC Hop Day 7

Tomorrow is the last day of the Coffee Hop. Have you entered yet? Every year I try to post a card every single day.  So far so good as today is my 7th card. Today I am featuring Super Sponsor Whimsy Stamps.

This set.. seriously, Whimsy, you had me at otter.  These critters are so darn cute!   Side Note- break my heart this set just retired, but there is another super cute set called Birthday Otters that is not yet retired, get it while you can!

Anyhoo, for this one, I stamped and colored the images with Copics. Sometimes otters are a bit more gray and sometimes more brown, so I colored them both ways.  The otter in the middle is laying over some water created with a stencil, distress Ink and a blending brush. For the other two windows, I used paper from the Calico paper pack.  The frame, cut in kraft paper, is the Slimline Scenic Window Die.  That is all mounted on a white base.  The otters are then mounted with foam tape.  I made my own little banner for the sentiment.   Lastly, I combined two kinds of flower embellishment as the finishing touch.

Don't you just want to cuddle them?  I do.

Thanks for checking out my fun card.  I hope you like it!

Trinity Snowlady and Coffee Cozy- CLC Hop Day 6

Happy Wednesday!  I have two more fantastic Coffee Creations for you today for the Coffee Hop featuring Super Sponsor Trinity Stamps.

This first creation is my Snowlady Mug.  Move over boys, this time the girls are in the house!  :)  I made this using the Coffee Mug Die Set, cutting in white.  I used the Seasonal Mini Cup Decor set for the snowflake and scarf.  For the eyelashes and nose, I used the Mini Coffee Cup Rainbow Hugs Add On. The arms, eyes and mouth are from the Slimline Happy Snowman.  Of course I used my Blending Buddy to add color to the coffee. Just for fun, I added some pink cheeks with my Copics.

In this second photo you will also see a coffee cozy I made using the new Coffee Cozy Hand Stitching Die set.  I used felt for this.  I didn't have any red, I thought I had some, but I ran out, so I used green, white and some fun red buttons.  I think this will make a nice gift set, don't you?

Well, I know this is a quick post, but thanks for stopping by!  Hope you have a great Wednesday.

Hello Pumpkin- CLC Hop Day 5

Happy Tuesday- Welcome to day 5 of the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Bloghop.  Today's post features products from Super Sponsors Waffle Flower, Wow Embossing Powder, and Ellen Hutson.

For this card, I started by stamping my images from Waffle Flower's Hello Pumpkin set on Copic Friendly paper and coloring them.  After that I fussy cut them all out and set them aside.  I stamped this Diamond Background Stamp from the Stamp Market using my Misti.  I stamped my sentiment on with Versamark and then used my WOW Embossing Powder Oasis.  I mounted that onto some Navy cardstock.  Then I used glue and foam tape to tack down my images on the white later.  I love how the pop against the pattern and lack of color.  My final touches were to add some twine and some glossy accents on the eyes.

I do adore these cute mice, they are so sweet.  What do you think of how I colored my leaves?  Do you think they look like real fall leaves?

I hope you like it and big thanks for visiting!  Happy hopping.
