Who doesn't love color eh?! I don't know one person who doesn't. It speaks to us in so many ways and means so many different things. Think about all the color challenges out there for us paper crafters or the fact that red roses mean love while yellow mean friendship. And what about what we choose to wear, "is it hot, is it trendy this season?" or even the colors we use in our homes. Can you imagine a world in black and white? I can't, it would be so boring! So obviously today's post is about color.
+ = LOVE
I just got a new stamp set from the Sweet Stamp Shop called Color Wheel and I have a card to share using it today. But first I want to show you that stamp set and the Reverse Confetti stamp set called Dream in Color I want to pair it up with, check it out. Don't you think these are perfect together?! Well that is my next project!
Today however, I am just showing you a card with the first set from SSS. It is inspired by this card from Savannah O'Gwynn. I just loved the sections of colors here that really seemed to stand out. So I tried to do the same. I used my fun new flair from Bossy Joscie! I was just loving the geotag and had to incorporate it. I also love the sentiment from the color wheel set, so fab.
For color I chose to use the inspiration from this week's Dynamic Duo challenge- I am loving this combo! I dug through *some* of my DP to find scraps (I have lots of other scrap DP, this is about 1/3 or it, if that) so I could enter into the Use What you have challenge #12 form he Sweet Stamp Shop. Finally, I used the layout from the current Reverse Confetti's Sketch For You To Try Challenge.
Is it time for the Question of the Day?!?! OK so today's question is...is there a color that has a specific meaning to you? If so what is the color and what does it mean? if not, then what is your favorite color?
Thanks so much for stopping!

This is a fantastic card--I love all the little elements you pulled together.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous post, and yes, those stamps are awesome!! Your card is delightful, and now I have a sudden *need* to explore the Sweet Stamp Shop and RC sites. Hmmmm...budget is stretched already, but perhaps a wee something...Love 'violet': the colour, the word, the flowers. No reason other than it 'sounds' pretty and reminds me of things pretty! Off to shop, er...explore...
