Howdy, how is your day today? Mine is good. I did something pretty cool this weekend, compliments of my hubby. I'll share more later, but first to the lovely Colour Me card challenge and fun colors. Check out the subtle pallet we have for this week's challenge.
Pretty rocking right? I just love this color combo. Here is what I made with these fab colors.
This fun card has the base colors from Stampin Up!.. Bermuda Bay and Pear Pizzazz. The DPs are from Heidi Swapp. I used some May Arts yellow twill ribbon and yellow enamel dots from MME The awesome tea pot and sentiment are from Serendipity Stamps, I won them at the last Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog hop! YAY!
OK, so head over to the Colour Me blog and check out all the creations the fab DT made. You can check out their blog too and leave them some love.

Before you go, here is what I did this weekend... I went to Urban Float.
The description- During a float you are suspended effortlessly in a super saturated solution of epsom salt and water within a light and sound controlled environment that reduces sensory stimulation and effectively suspends the effects of gravity on the central nervous system. The water is at skin temperature and after a few minutes you lose the awareness of where the body ends and the water begins. Resting in this unique environment creates profound changes within the mind/body system and actually improves the overall function of the brain and central nervous system.
It really was pretty cool. The sensory deprivation was well needed and I felt great after.
Have a fun day!
Your card is gorgeous!!!!!!! Love that teapot!
ReplyDeleteOoohhh...that urban float sounds amazing.

ReplyDeleteThis card is gorgeous Katie, and what an amazing (and true) sentiment! I love that die cut tepaot in patterned paper, just stunning. Urban Float looks awesome! I'll have to see if there is one near me!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Love the sentiment and the pretty tea pot!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to begin by applauding your Urban Float experience! It sounds super cool, but given I'm a chicken where water is concerned, it's not in my 'try' realm. Your card: fabulous! I can attest to the truth of the sentiment *grin* Your teapot is a delight!

ReplyDeleteAnd the Urban Float experience sounds amazing! You're a brave woman, Katie. I've always wanted to try that but I think I'm too chicken to try sensory deprivation.
