Hello and happy HUMP Day to you! You know from my Sunday post that the weekend's are my fave so I am happy for the week to be halfway over. BUT, I do love sharing my Two Paper's Divas creations on Wednesday!
The card I have for you this week features one of the January releases for TPD.
Loving this fun set called Best Fishes! So very cute and so versatile! You can expect me to be using this set a lot, I guarantee!
For this creation I started with my background and worked my way forward. I stamped the sentiment in the corner and then added some embossing paste with this Balzar Designs stencil. I like this effect, because it kinda looks like fish scales. Then I knew I wanted to add this oval for the fishes to sit on. I stamped my fishes on white and the colored them with my Copics. I love how they are opposite colors and so bright and fun! I also stamped the bubbles. I used my fussy cut scissors to cut them all out (including the bubbles!) and mounted them with dimensionals. I added some Glossy Accents over the bubbles for that shimmery touch. Ta-dah! This makes a great guy card!
OK, now head on over to Two Paper Divas blog because it is Design Team Wednesday and there is a lot of fun for the taking!
Thanks for visiting today!
Now how cute is this?!

ReplyDeleteLove your use of the embossing paste!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are going to become the "queen" of Best Fishes. You are doing some super fun stuff with this set! Love them all!
ReplyDeleteThe card of Fishes is so adorable, Katie. One of my favorite things to do on my cards and to teach my weekly students is to occasionally bring out my embossing paste as well. You did a great job on this card to create the illusion of "bubbles". Way to go!!!
ReplyDeleteI was gonna say..... reminds me of fish scales too! Love this!
