Joy not Germs Blog Hop
Hello! Hope you are enjoying the Spread Joy Not Germs blog hop!. You should have arrived here from Jenn Gross' blog. For more information you can head to the Catherine Pooler blog or the Hedge Hog Hollow Blog.
Today I am featuring two cards, one from Trinity Stamps, who is offering a $25 gift card and one from Whimsy Stamps, who is offering a $15 gift card.
First up is a card for Trinity Stamps with a brand new stamp set being released today!
This set is called Happy Hour. You are going to LOVE this set! It is super fun for so many occassions, you have to see the sentiments! I used it for a birthday card.
I made this by using my 4 Bar Card Die Set to cut this fun inverted scalloped edge square. Then I used my Blending Buddy to add color to it and wiped it with a baby wipe to streak the color a bit. Next, I stamped some streamers and confetti from the Totally Amazing Stamp Set directly to the same layer and colored them with my Copics (E00, E41, Y02, Y13, Y15, Y21, RV02, RV04, R29, R14, FV2, BV04, BV02, B02, B05, BG10, YR04, YR07, FGY2, YG13). Then I stamped the martini glass from the Happy Hour and cut it out. I colored it to look like a light beverage inside. I stamped the candy stick from the Candy Jar Set and made it into a rainbow straw. I added highlights with a white gel pen. I put it in the glass which I mounted on the base with foam tape, then I added some sparkle pen to the bubbly in my glass. I added a rainbow layer to my base and then put the martini layer on top. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the new set onto a blue bit of paper that was die cut using a banner form the Narrow Card and Bookmark Die. Lastly, I stamped the rest of the sentiment on the inside. All together, it reads, "sending you a little birthday cheer."
Next up, is my Whimsy Stamps card featuring products from their brand new mini release.
I love this sweet cactus! It is precious and a perfect card to family or for an anniversary.
To make this one, I stamped the image from the Cute Cacti Stamp Set on Copic friendly paper. I colored it with my Copics (RV02, RV25, R14, R35, E44, E49, YG11, YG23, YG25, YG67, W3, W0). Next, I die cut the Connected Oval Frame die in both pink and white (for the center). I cut the Festive Desert Paper to 4 X 5.25 and mounted it on pink cardstock. Then I added the oval and white center and my cactus. I stamped the sentiment on green and used foam tape to mount it. Lastly I added these Double Bubble Jelly Drop hearts.
That sweet face just makes me so happy!
