Tongue Twister Tuesday- Technique Tutorial

Hello.  Today is tongue twister Tuesday on my blog.  Why?  Because I am going to share another  technique and brief tutorial using tissue paper and dies from Top Dog Dies.  Whew, that was a lot of T's!

Here is the card I have to share.  What do you think of all those layers of tissue?  Well I love them and it was super easy. I won't give you the back story on the card base other than to tell you that the florals are from Mama Elephant and the sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays.

To make this card, you have to:

1.  have some layers of tissue paper.  I have two layers of orange, 2 blue, 2 orange, 2 blue (total of 8 layers) in a sandwich like this.
2.Then I put it through my Big Shot with Top Dog Dies Butterfly Die Set.  You can see the outcome and that all the layers are squished down.
3. I then pulled the layers apart at the wings VERY Gently (they will tear if you aren't careful).

4. I anchored the butterfly to my card base with glue dots below and one on top covered by a sequin.  (the layers aren't really stuck together other than the pressure of going through the die cutting machine, so this helps keep them together).

That is it!  What do you think?  Pretty easy eh...

Curtain Call- Confetti Crush (because I peppered my florals like confetti)

Have a wonderful day!
