My card today features Caffeinated Unicorn. Such a fun and silly set! As you can see, the best part (besides the fun image and all the creative possibilities it brings) is the sentiment and the apparent contradiction to the image. Yes "coffee makes me sparkle," but I look like a zombie! LOLOLOLOL
I wanted to set the stage for this unicorn in the most magical land. It features puffy colored clouds, a magical background, pastel colors and sparkles. I due cut the clouds (Lawn Fawn) and used distress inks with my Blendability Brushes (Trinity) to add color. The background is an embossing folder and some light purple die cut clouds (PTI). All this was the perfect stage for the unicorn, which I colored with Copics. I enjoyed mixing the colors in the hair to add that messy look. You can't see it here, but you'll notice in the pic below that I added Wink of Stella to a few bits to make it sparkle and match the sentiment. How do you feel about the little pink bloodshot in the eye?! LOL. Oh and the narwhal slippers are awesome! So much potential to be magical eh?!
Can you see that sparkle? Such a nice touch to add to our character.
