Penguin Party

Happy Friday!  I might be around a lot in the next few weeks because I am behind on sharing a bunch of cards.  Today's card features a stamp set I won from Funky Fossil Design during a recent release hop.  When I got to pick a stamp set, there was no doubt that I would pick the Festive Penguins.

I have been loving the purple trend for holiday cards this year, so thought I would play with that for this card.

Here is how I made this.
  • I stamped my images on Copic friendly paper and colored them.  I cut them out using my Scan'N Cut.
  • Next, I die cut this paper from Jen Hadfield using my Trinity Slimline Die and mounted it on my base.
  • Then I stamped the white layer with my Whimsy Stamps die and mounted it on top of the purple using foam tape.
  • I added in my stamped and colored images that I used my gel pen to highlight.
  • Lastly, I added in my snowflake embellishments from Trinity.
Here is another view:

I like to add a little yellow onto my penguins since that is how they often appear in real life. I think they are pretty cute and I hope you like them.

Thanks for visiting me today, I hope you like this creation!
