2. Then, I scored the long side from the left at the following spots:
8. Next I cut out my pumpkin layers. I can use cardstock or Designer Paper- though if I used DP I put a layer of CS behind it to make it a little more sturdy.
9. I cut the faces out using glitter paper. I can reposition the face parts (turning them) to make different faces.
10. Once I have the pumpkin sides done, I adhere them to the box sides being very careful to have good alignment and so the pumpkin will stand on its own using the two outer sides.

- 2 1/8 inches
- 3 1/8 inches (one inch from the last score line)
- 5 1/4 inches (2 1/8 from the last score line)
- 6 1/4 inches (one inch from the last score line OR 1/4 inch from right edge)
3. I turned the paper so it was tall and scored from the top to bottom at 1 inch in (1.5 inches from the other edge).
4. I folded all my edges in the same direction. I cut slits along the bottom edge of the long side and cut the flap off the tiny corner that is 1/4 by 1 inch. Here is a visual to help:
The tape for this has to be very strong, I recommend the red tape that is good for 3-D projects or other high tack double sided adhesive tape.
5. Now I put my box together and it looks like this:
There is still tape on the two large sides which I will later adhere to my pumpkins.
7. Next I use a small hole punch and punch two holes on each side of the box. I will use these to add my heavy twine to hold the box.
