It just so happens you have hit one of those prize stops!!!  I am giving away the Trinity Stamps LLC - Coffee with Character stamp set.  WOOHOO!

On to my projects!

Here is my first card:

It is a love affair between these two adorable cups!  These are from that same Trinity Coffee with Character Stamp Set I am giving away!  Soooo cute.  I love that this was created with legs, arms, eyes, etc.   First I die cut this Hero Arts Circle.  When it was I stamped and colored the cups with my Copics.  Being that the handle can move from side to side, it was perfect to get these love cups close together.  I added the eyes, mouth and face.  The splashes and sloshing coffee were hand drawn using my Copics.  The drips coming together at the top make the perfect platform for this woodchip heart that I colored and highlighted.  Once I had my little lover's ready, I cut this DP base using my Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Die.  The sentiment is from Trinity's Caffeinated Sentiments set.

Next Up.....

.... TA DA!  Coffee is the star of the show!

This one started out with these adorable pets from Your Next Stamp.  They are from the Cool Cats and Paw-some Pups Sets.  They are super fun and I enjoyed coloring them with my Copics.  They are prefect to show off this delicious coffee which is a die cut from Fun Stamper's Journey.  Once I had the vision in my mind, I put them on this flashy blue stripped designer paper that I cut with Avery Elle Wonky Stitches.  I stamped the sentiment and then sprinkled these stars around, which are from a Memory Box die and some star sequins.  Finally, I put it on a red based to draw out the red in the card.

Last but not least is my Halloween Card:

The funnest thing about this card is that almost everything these characters are wearing is made from the Trinity Coffee With Character Stamp set!  The dies are YNS.

The clown was my first idea and I build them all from there. The Clown uses the whipped cream and colored rainbow Style.  The nose is a red pearl and the glasses are a die from YNS.  Up to the left you will see the Movie Star.  Her hair is from the steam in the set.  Again, the glasses are from YNS, I colored them red and added rhinestones to the sides and a diamond earring on the ear, which is made out of a portion of a cup handle.  Top right we have the Safari Guide.  His mustache was hand drawn and colored and the hat is a combo of a plate and dome lid, masked and stamped together.  Last but not least on the bottom right is my fave, Maleficent.  Her collar is from the coffee steam and her horns are made from a croissant!  I think that was my most brilliant moment in the whole thing!  You can see below for the various parts of the coffee set.  But first, I want you to know that the backdrop is the YNS Photo Booth Panel Die set.  It was the perfect layout for these cuties.  I loved adding the SMILE in the middle with highlights and the Happy Halloween sentiment from Lawn Fawn.  The Doodlebug star bling was the final touch.

Adding this one to the YNS challenge 98

OK, I hope you enjoyed this and will head over to Chris' blog next!

Head on over to the CLC blog for all the hop details and a list of Super Sponsor's that are hopping with us!  Thank you for your visit!!!!

National Coffee Day Hop - Trinity

Saturday is here and so is National Coffee Day.  You probably know the CLC blog is hosting a hop today and Trinity Stamps has it's own sub-hop going on.   This project is part of that hop and is loaded with some tasty treats.

My project for this hop features the Coffee with Character and Caffeinated Sentiments stamp sets.  I really love the versatility of these sets, they are fun to use.  For my card, I randomly repeat stamped bits from the coffee set on white paper.  Once I had the design I wanted I cut the paper to 4 X 5.25 so it would be just a bit smaller than the base.  I then used my Prismacolor pencils to color in my images and used a pencil blender to make the pencil smoother.  I did the same with the sentiment strip, colored and blended.  I came back in with a white Siglo pen and added the highlights.  White the colors aren't as clean as Copics, I still like the look they provide.

Here is a close up of the sentiment:

If you happened to stop here randomly, be sure to head to the Trinity Blog to see all the great designs from this hop and DT.

Thanks for your visit today!

to POSL from FLOSL

Well, it happened, my husband has become president of our HOA.  Congrats to him!   I like to refer to him as the POSL (President of Silver Lake) and our neighbors joke that I am the FLOSL (First Lady of Silver Lake).  As we (by we I mean him...) embark on our journey to make our community great again.... I thought this would be a fun card to make.  It is a bit of a joke (obviously) but my hubby truly wants to make things better, so also a congratulatory card.

This card features images and sentiments from Trinity Stamps Lady Liberty Stamp set. I colored the Statue of Liberty in red, white and blue using my Copics.  I like the way it turned out with the stripes as her skirt.  When making this card I wanted to give it the historic Americana feel, hence the PTI start die plate and the DP behind it.  I cut a small strip of metallic paper from Crafter's Companion and placed it through the middle with he sentiment.  I finished it off with highlights and some sparkly stars.

Here are a few more shots showing different angles and giving you a slightly closer view of Lady Liberty.

So this may be out of season but it feels like the appropriate way to say conrats to my hubby.  I hope you enjoyed and appreciate your visit.

Fabulous Awesome

A quick post today featuring a fun card using some Altenew Products.

I made this card by repeat stamping the party blower and Confetti from Altenew's  Birthday Bash Stamp Set.  After I colored them all, with my copics, I due cut several layers using PTI dies and them popped the front layer out.  I then stamped the sentiment in the middle and added some blue to it.

I feel like this makes such a fun masculine card.

Let Love Bloom

The weekend is finally here- hooray!  I am soooo ready!

I have a lovely fall feeling card to share with you today.  The colors and textures, I think you'll agree.  Here goes...

What do you think?  I feel happy with this creation.  Let me tell you how I made it....

I started with that lovely image from Trinity Stamps Hello Sweet Friend set.  Such a gorgeous bouquet and so glorious to color.  It reminds me of the bouquets you get at the local farmers market.  And I colored it like that.  You'll notice the yellow Lilies, the Eucalypti, the orange Dahlia's, Light pink Roses and burgundy Anemones.   I set the backdrop on Kraft and incorporated some burlap and pink ribbon.  I stamped the sentiment from the Let Love Grow set in Copper Delicata ink.

Fiesta!

Hey Ya'll!  Happy Friday!  I so needed this day to come and the work week to be over; I am just wiped out!

I have this bright and fun card to share with you today, and I hope it perks us both up!

I have to tell you, I got lucky in putting this card together.  I knew where I wanted to start but I didn't know where I wanted to end.  To be honest, I never quite know the end, but sometimes the journey is more seamless then others.   But I will tell you how it happened.

The image is always my focal point, I love to color and want to play with these fun stamps.  So I busted this cutie out from Sugar Pea Designs.  I stamped and colored wanting it to be one of those fun fluffy brown alpacas with a bright blanket, so cute.  I used my dies to cut him out.  When I was done, I shuffled through my DP scraps and found this pink DP and this velum with confetti, they made the perfect layers.  I cut the Fiesta sentiment from MFT (purchased at Drive By Crafts) in this bright yellow.  I put the purple CS strip below it to make it pop and pull out the bright colors in the image above.  It was so fun to make.

Pearl

Wednesday is here!  I think.... this is my last summer card... I think, lol.

I made this one specifically for a friend of mine who was having a Bachellorette Party.  It felt a little...tame... for the occassion, but it remind me of the Bride to be, so it was a good choice.

I made this card using the Hero Arts Mermaid Kisses stamp set. The die cuts are from an Avery Elle scalloped shapes die. The DP is from Carta Bella and the paper is from SU!.  I cut the base using the Avery Elle Wonky Stitches die and placed my layers on that after stamping the sentiment.  It is likely hard to see, but I used Wink of Stella on tail.  The last touch, the pearls.

Purrmaid Wishes

Happy Tuesday!  Have a fun card today for Simon Says Stamps Wednesday Challenge- Pop it up!

I just love the sweetness of this card.  When I saw the Simon Says Stamp Summer Cuddly Critters set it was a must have for me.  I had already decided this sweet kitty should be holding a tropical drink from the YNS Phoebe goes on Vacation stamp set.  I colored both and set them aside.  I had a hard timing choosing paper at first until I came across this scrap of DP from Doodlebugs, perfect backdrop patterns and colors.  I cut it out using my Avery Elle Wonky stitches die.  Then I came back in with one of the Lawn Fawn Slider dies.  The sentiment on the inside says "purrrmaid wishes and starfish kisses."

I look forward to giving this to the right little girl who loves both cats and mermaids (probably my niece... wink)!

Pigtime

I realized I still have a few summer cards that I haven't shared.  So I am here today to do just that, share a few.

I have two versions of this card:

The images on both are from Gerda Steiner designs.  I colored the piggies and paper pieced the air mattresses.  I die cut the body of water using a Memory Box Die.  Underneath is some DP  from Doodlebugs (first card) and Carta Bella (second card.  I stamped the sentiments from Neat and Tangled.

Now, let me ask you, to whom or for what occasion would you give these cards?  I can't quite decide.
Thanks for the visit!

Waving Hello

Hi Friends.  I need to share all my summer cards before it is officially fall.  So I am here today sharing this one, that I plan to entering into Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Isn't she sweet?  I love that darling face.  I stamped her out on my watercolor paper and used my Zigs to color her.  Once she dried, I came back in with my Zigs again to add some scales and shadows. Again, when dry, I added highlights using my white siglo gel pen.  I set aside to dry.  I cut out a base using my Avery Elle Wonky Stitches die and added some blue using my SN Sparkle Pens.  Set aside to dry.  I cut the waves out using my MFT stitched wave dies and colored them using layers of distress ink with some white craft ink at the top to look like the foamy tops of the wave.  When the background layer was dry, I came back in with a Hero Arts sentiment and sun and added the yellow.  After that I assembled my layers and placed them all on a yellow backdrop.

Here is the full view.

It is a big out of my comfort zone, but I am happy to say I am pleased with the outcome.

Thanks for your visit friends.

Rhyme Time

Hey Friends, happy Saturday!  I am thrilled the weekend is here!

I have a silly card to share with you today.

Isn't it a fun and silly way to say happy belated birthday!?  The best part is that poop is really the whipped cream from the Trinity Stamps Coffee With Character stamp set.  LOLOLOL.  I couldn't resist using it this way.

I started by die cutting the circle with a Hero Arts die.  Next I stamped the sentiments from the Trinity Caffeinated Sentiments set and made my little rhyme.  I left room for my turd in the middle.  I stamped the arms and lets and the whipped cream.  I stamped the whipped cream again on a separate piece of paper and colored it brown.  I added my own little face, he is sad cause he is late.  I cut it out and used some dimensional to pop it out.  Next I placed a strip of accent paper on the DP and cut both out with my Gina Marie die and popped out the circle on this layer. Lastly I placed it on my white cardstock.

Here is a close up of that sad little turd.

Can't Stop the Feeling!

My time being a Guest Designer with Your Next Stamp is sadly over.  But I still have plenty of fun to share.

One of my fave YNS sets is the Insanely Happy set which features trolls.  I loved that movie and the fun characters.

You probably saw my card  featuring Branch over at the YNS blog... if not, here it is:

Today I have a card that is a combination of Poppy and Bridget.  And it is so fun, that i promise you, you will want to dance to the Rhythm.

See, I wasn't kidding you!  Isn't she fun!  She is looks like Poppy, but her hair and outfit is colored with Copics to match Bridget!  That rainbow hair makes me happy!  Better yet, the rainbow behind her just eminates happiness! She just can't stop the feelin'! Can you imagine feeling the groove so much that you leave that in your wake?  I created the rainbow using a die from Pretty Pink Posh.  The background paper is Echo Park.

I hope you enjoy this and it gave you a bit of a smile today.
