Jungle Boogie

Hi crafty peeps!  Another quick post today with a fun card to share.  This one features some Hello Bluebird stamps and some other fun products. And these critters are busy having fun and doing the jungle boogie!

This card has some super fun images.  I colored them with my Zigs and cut them all out...yes, that was a lot of fussy cutting!  The front panel is also on watercolor paper and the fab colors are made with Lindy's magicals.  Once they dried, I die cut a circle in the middle.  I put green paper behind it and used foam tape to pop it up.  I die cut some grass using a CDD die and added it to the inside of the circle and in front.  All put together it looks pretty fab doesn't it.

My fave part is the little monkey hanging on the vine, but I love them all.  The color of the tiger and the flowers.  They are fun!  The colors from the Lindy's are so pretty and vivid.  I love the touches of blue and pink in there.

Well, that is it today.  I hope you like this fun card and thanks again for visiting!

Hoppiest Birthday!

Welcome back to a another amazing day in this fabulous week.  I wanted to make a fun card filled with movement for the Inkspirational Challenge with the theme Leap and the Inspire- Create Challenge.  So, I did and here it is:

OK, this giraffe is just darling and amongst the clouds, rainbows and butterflies- SQUEE!  It was so much fun to make too!  It just makes my heart happy.

To make this I started by stamping and coloring my MFT giraffe and cutting it out.  I set it aside and die cut all the bits for this scene using a Hello Bluebird die.  I used distress inks for the blue sky and a bit on the edges of the clouds.  The bottom cloud, I stamped the sentiment.  I popped up the cloud layers using foam tape.  Next, I took the white bits of the rainbow and used distress ink to color the three bits so they had two colors each, purple and red, orange and yellow, green and blue.  Then I added sparkle pen over the top.  Once dry, I mounted the strips using foam tape.  I came back in and added my giraffe. Lastly, I added the butterfly embellishments.

I mean seriously, could this get any cuter?!  AND- who does want their pogo stick to take them up amongst the clouds, pretty sure that is where dreams come true!  The dimension is fun too. :)

Well friends, I hope you like it!  Appreciate your visit!
