Tea Party

Happy Friday Friends.  Trinity Stamps has a new release today and we are having a hop over on Instagram.  Be sure to check it out for your chance to win a prize!  Meanwhile, I wanted to share my card here as well to give you the detail.

My card today features the new Slimline Tea Party Stamp Set.  It is such a fun set to use, whimsical and great for a party.  I stamped it with my Misti and colored it with my Copics (BG10, BG34, BG32, BG13, RV10, RV63, RV21, RV000, R20, G00, V12, YG23, YG11, YG00, Y11, W1, W3, E93).  I then die cut it with the Modern Embossed A7 Layers, I cut the other layers using some colored cardstock, the All Heart Paper Pad, and the Winter Hues Paper Pad. I mounted all the layers together.  I used some blue cardstock to stamp the sentiment and die cut it with the tag from the Mini Slimline Card and Envelope Die Set

It was pretty simple, just a lot of coloring, but it was fun to do with the pastels. It makes such a great party invitation doesn't it?!

I hope you like it and thanks for visiting me today.  Enjoy the new release.

Windows, Doors and Pockets

Hey there!  I know it has been a while since I have posted here.  But today I have a super fun card made to play with the Heffy Doodle June Challenge featuring Windows, Doors and Pockets.  I went for a gate... which counts as a door right?  I hope so!

Here it is, I love this super fun scene.  I used a panel die for the background and used a cloud stencil and distress ink for the background.  I also added a sun and a some clouds.  Then I die cut the fence from the Close the Gate die and added some grey to distress it.  I added some sand banks in the front.  All the images are from the Heffy Doodle You Go Gull and the A Little Shellfish stamp set.  I colored them all with Copics and mounted them on this fabulous background, then mounted that on blue.

Here are a couple more views for you.  I hope you like it. I think it is a pretty fun Birthday Scene.

Thanks for visiting!
