Trinity Release Day!

Happy Trinity Release Day!  We have a ton of fun goodies to share with you today over on IG and we hope you will join us for the hop!

Meanwhile, I wanted to share my card with you here too so you could have the details.

My card for today features some old goodies, but lots of new ones too.  Let's start with how I made it.

First, I stamped the images from Spring In My Step, Gnome Bunny, and All Cracked Up and colored with my Copics.  I cut the elements out and set them aside.  Next, I die cut some white cardstock using the Slimline Quilted Cover Plate.  I distressed it using my Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and Blending Buddy.  Next, I die cut some grass with green cardstock using the Slimline Scenic Border.  Next, I die cut the base of the Make-a-Spaceship die in Kraft.  I used brown Copic to create my own basket. I placed all my elements in the scene.  Stamped my sentiment.  Then I added the New Leaf, Fondant Florals and Butterfly Bon Bon embellishments.

I think they turned out pretty cute, I hope you like them too.  Thanks for visiting and be sure to check out the Trinity Stamps Shop for the new release!

CLC Spring Hop &Trinity Sneak

Hey everyone, happy Friday!  Today is the kick of the Coffee Lover's Spring/Summer Hop!  It is fun and exciting stuff AND... I have some sneak peeks for Trinity Stamps too.

Here is my CA-UTE project (I hope you think so too).  My mini coffee cup is perfect to hold and Easter or spring treat for someone special.  I love this darling bunny which is part of a brand new stamp set, available tomorrow, from Trinity Stamps called Slimline Bunnies.

I stamped my image and colored it with Copics, cut it out and set aside.  Then I used the Mini Coffee Cup Sleeve and Decor Die set with some Doodlebug Designs Inc. DP for the strip that goes around.  I used Cardstock for the scalloped circle portion and the white circle.  I used a bone folder to curl the items and then used sturdy adhesive to put it all together.  I mounted my bunny using foam tape.   I wrapped this around my mini cup from the Mini Paper Cup Craft Kit.  I took a tag and used my Blending Buddy and added some orange distress ink.  I stamped my sentiment and used green twine and added it to the cup.  The last touch was to color the stopper with my Copics to make it look like a carrot peeking out of the top.

I am pretty happy with how it turned out, maybe I'll give it to my favorite coffee loving friend.

I hope you will join the Coffee Hop and check out the new Trinity release which is live tomorrow (Saturday 3.20.21).

Happy hopping!

Creative Scrapbooker Magazine

Hey!  I have some exciting news today.  I finally attempted to get a few of my creations published and guess what.. they were!  YAY!

I am featured in the spring issue of Creative Scrapbooker Magazine!

The category was cards that make you laugh and i did just that.   All the cards feature various products, but the main images are from Create-a-Smile stamps.

This first one features a fun Oops Word from Whimsy Stamps.  I used Distress Ink with my MFT Stencil and Trinity Blending Buddy. I used Copics for coloring and added glossy accents to my flies.

This one makes me giggle.  I wanted the background to look like a nice plush sheet of TP, so I used the Heffy Doodle Quilted heart die.  I used distress ink to make it pink.  I colored the rainbow poop with my Copics and piled them high.  The sentiment is from Your Next Stamp.

My last card only features Create-A-Smile products with the exception of the Wonky Edged die from Avery Elle.

That is my exciting news today, thanks for checking out my cards.  Hopefully the make you laugh!

With Sympathy

Hi there.  Just sharing a quick post.  Trying to perk up a friend who recentmy lost a loved one.  I know sympathy cards are typically a little more muted in color, but I chose brights in hopes they would make her smile.

I stamped the images from With Sympathy using versamark and heat embossed with black Wow embossing powder.  I stamped on watercolor paper and colored with zigs and cut them out with the With Sympathy dies.  For the background, I added a little distress ink and some strips of paper.  I used the Slimline Scalloped panels and Banners to create the banner for the sentiment and used the Winter Hues paper pack.  I stamped, embossed and die cut the with sympathy portion of the sentiment.  I mounted my flowers with foam tape, added my sentiments and finished with the Fortune Teller embellishments.

I hope my friend feels the love.

Thanks for visiting.

Sending Smooches

Hello.  I don't know about you, but I am super glad Friday is here.  It has just been one of those weeks. BUT... it is over, so yay!

I have a fun card for you today.

It is pretty fun and I loved coloring it with pastels rather than bright color for a change.

I made this one using the a white base, cloud stencil, my Blending Buddy and Tumbled Glass distress Oxide. Next I used a rainbow die and used distress inks to color it.  I cut out a cloud and used a bit of distress on that too.  Next, I stamped and embossed the sentiment using Wow's Orangeade from the Summer Scoops Trio.  Next, I stamped my image using the Sending Smooches Stamp Set and colored it with Copics.  Then I cut it out using the coordinating Sending Smooches Die Set.  I mounted it on my base using an action wobble.  Then I added some Funfetti Love Embellishments.

I think it turned out pretty cute, I am happy how it turned out.  I hope to post a fun shot of it motion for you on Instagram.

Entering this into Color Throwdown
