Jolly

Hey, Hey!  Did you think I was done spamming you with holiday cards?  NOPE!

Here is a a card I made using the Chloe Poinsettia Wreath die which is super fun!  And it goes perfectly with the Crafter's Companion Circle Swing Die.  I cut right into the circle and then added some color and distressed it to give it this fun feel.  To accent the poinsettias after popping them up,  I put some of the shiny red luxury cardstock behind the circle.  I used the same to paper to cut the word Jolly which was from the Sarah Davies Cute Christmas Collection. The plaid paper is from Lawn Fawn and goes perfectly with this fun card.

How funny is it that this second shot looks crooked?  It isn't, I guess I took it at a weird angle or something.

A Christmas Story?

After all the coffee hop fun I took a few days off.  It was so much fun but sheesh, I don't know how Amy and the gals do that 4X per year!  What an amazing crew eh!?

So picking up where I left off, wanted to share another fun card with you:

For some reason this sweet guy from the greeting farm reminds me of the little bundled up boy in the movie A Christmas Story.  Maybe it is that old fashioned looking jacket/outfit.  It is really cute!  So I colored this guy with my Copics and I just love the blue and green palette.  The background paper is from Doodlebug Designs, so bright and cheery.  I used the Lawn Fawn polaroid die cut and a LF greeting as well.  The snowflakes are from Pretty Pink Posh.  He is a darling kiddo don’t you think?!

Thank you so much for visiting me today, it makes my heart sing!

International Tea Day

Today is the last day of the Coffee Hop- sniffle!  But it has been OH SO MUCH FUN!  And for one last amazing send off on this final day we are celebrating International Tea Day.  Yay!  I have a fun card to share with you in celebration:

Does this make you feel like you are looking out the window gazing at a wonderful winter scene? I hope so, because that is the idea.  I started with the evergreen bough from Impression Obsession.  I then cut the little red bird from a PTI die.  The window, cut into woodgrain paper is from MFT.  The snowy paper behind it is from Lawn Fawn.  Next comes the tea cup and accessories from Echo Park.  I cut the cup it all from Crafter's Companion Luxury Cardstock with the exception of the steam, which is cut from vellum.  Finally, the border die is from Gina Marie.

Head on over to the Coffee Lovers blog to see what other amazing creations the DT has.

Thanks for the visit!

Holiday Hugs!

Can you believe there are only two days left in the Coffee Hop?  I can't, it has really flown by.  BUt there has been so much fun and so much inspiration.

Today I ave this card featuring one of my most favorite stamps from MFT.  He was fun to color as a Sasquatch this time around.  I paper pieced the scraf from the some fun DP.  The background DP is cut using Avery Elle and PTI dies.  Love the little felt trees picked up from my local craft store.  The sentiment is from WPlus9.

Hope you are getting lots of inspiration!

National Cocoa Day

Who's ready for some Cocoa?! Visualize me raising my hand...  It's National Cocoa Day so we should ALLbe ready I think.  The next uestion is what is your preference, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, something else?  Marshmallows or not?  Me, I am a milk chocolate girl with marshmallows.

Now if you are a mallow lover like me, then this is a good gift for you.

This little cutie was made by simply purchasing a small jar from my local craft store and filling with marshmallows.  The penguin is vinyl, which you could make with your die cutting machine.  I coupled it with some Starbucks Cocoa and finished it with a tag that I die cut form Lawn Fawn.  Hard to see but I also stamped some blue snowflakes and Happy Holiday's Sentiment (also LF) and tied it up using some fun red twine.

Do head on over to the Coffee Lover's blog to see what else is in store for today!

Coffee- My Merry Maker

This hop has been so fun so far.  I am doing my best to get around and comment as much as possible.  If only I didn't have to work... then I would comment on them all!  I guess I have to support my craft supply habit somehow.

There are soooo many fun elements in this card that I am not sure I can name them all.  Where shall I start?!  OK, the cups are from Honey Bee stamps, I used a masking technique to layer them and used the Lawn Fawn Quinn's ABCs inside the cups.  I colored them with my Copics.  The Christmas sentiment s from Walter and Winnie, I cut it twice, in foam and sparkly paper and off set them to allow for that shadow-like look.  The DP is also Lawn Fawn.  The snowflakes are from Simon Says Stamp and cut into Luxury Cardstock from Crafter's Companion.  I am not sure if the design in my head quite played out on paper, but it is still fun.

OK, thanks for the visit and and enjoy more of the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop.

Still Hoppin?

Hey there!  Are you still getting your Winter Coffee Lover's hop on?  I am!

If you know me, you know I love all things Yeti or Sasquatch, and this is one of my favorite stamps sets by MFT>  I love this guy and he is fun to color in so many ways.  This cute dude is all snuggled up with his cup of Cocoa and his scarf.  I really love this color combo to.  The red paper is embossed with a SU! embossing folder and the DP panel is cut out using and Avery Elle die.

So, I know you are Yeti for coffee and crafts, but are you Yeti for Christmas?

Thanks for your visit!

Cup of Cheer!

The weekends always go too fast don't they?  I can't really complain though, I got to see lots of my crafty friends yesterday for a fun gathering inclusive of cardmaking, treats, gifts and lots of laughter.  It was so much fun, thank you t the gracious host/hostess for letting us use their home.

Among the treats were coffee cups, cookies and more  So this card is the perfect follow up to yesterday.

These fun images are a compilation of stamps from some of my fave companies.  The cocoa is MFT, the plate is Lawn Fawn and that delectable gingerbread person is from Neat and Tangled.  Color them up, add some bright and fun Holiday papers and a bit of twine and BAM!  This would be perfect to go along with a batch of cookies for a neighbor or hostess gift.   i should have had this ready for our hostess yesterday!

I hope you are enjoying the Winter Coffee Lover's Hop, I sure am!

Coffee Lover's Blog Hop- Winter

Again, thrilled to be a Guest DT on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog!  And it is time for another Coffee Lover's Blog hop+ YAY!  Soooo much fun with all the inspiration, delicious looking drinks, super sponsors and prizes!  So what are we waiting for?!

My card to kick of the Hop features this super cutie pie stamp from Super Sponsor Your Next Stamp.  I stamped it out on watercolor paper and used my Zigs to make it look festive.  I fussy cut it out, and placed it in this layout with all the fun punches and die cuts. I can't recall who makes the sentiment, but the die cut rectangles are from Avery Elle.

I'd love to know, whatever your drink of choice is (coffee/tea/cocoa)- do you prefer to make it at home or buy it and why?

Thanks for the visit today and be sure to head to the CLC blog for more fun!

Throwback Thursday!

Check out this fun card!  I actually made this in January of this year, I was still in the mood to use all my fabulous Christmas stamps so....

OK, I just need to say that reindeer from Mama Elephant just makes me want to give a little shout of joy, then add that fluffy red Rudolph nose and.... EEEEEP!  Frickin' cute!  I colored with my Copics.  The JOY die cut is from MFT but I used the negative cut out.  The fun DP is cute using and Avery Elle die.  The bright color, the nose, the cuteness, what more could I need?!

Thanks for another visit today and your lovely and uplifting comments!

Where did you get that hat?!

I have never really seen critters wearing clothes (minus the dressed up dog here and there) but I have to say, imagining it in nature kinda makes me giggle.  Can you imagine coming upon a winter scene with these little ones wearing clothes and maybe even decorating a Christmas Tree?  It would be too precious!

I started this creation by stamping these Sweet Avery Elle images on watercolor paper.  I used a combo of my zigs and my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens to create the colors.  Once I had my scene created I decided to frame in in this oval (MFT die) with the Gina Marie Die outside.  I like the white on white and the little extra glittery holly on the front.

From our Igloo to yours...

You may have noticed, but one thing that makes me happy is a cute scene with sweet little characters, dimension and color.   When I created this card, it just made me smile.

This card features some SUPER ADORABLE images from Pretty Pink Posh.  I love the soft colors here as I feel like they would be appropriate on this type of landscape.  The background features some Distress Oxide inks from Ranger and on top of that is a MFT die to help set up this fun winter scene.

I don't know about you, but if I was one of these cuties, I would for sure have cocoa in my hand, brrr....looks cold!

From our igloo to yours, wishing you a wonderful holiday season!

Holly Jolly

Me thinks I need say very little about this card...  Yeti....

Seriously LOVE this guy from MFT.  I paper pieced the scarf and the tree is from a Lawn Fawn set.  You can see the Avery Elle impression around the edge.  I love how the green enamel dots pop against the red paper!

This card makes puts me in a Holly Jolly mood. 💖

He's Makin' a List....

I sure hope you aren't getting sick of my holiday cards yet because I have a LOT more to share!  All in all, I think I've made about 65 this year.  I am no good at duplication, so when I send out my cards they are all different.

This is another fun one that is a bit further from my typical style (no, I don't do great with CAS).  But this guy really doesn't need an entourage; he is center stage and proud of it!  Colored using my Copics is this sweet Santa from SugarPea Designs.  The DP is from last season and I can't remember who makes it, pulled it out of my scrap bin because it is still lovely and really makes the perfect backdrop for Mr. C.  I cut the DP using my Avery Elle die and then added some sparkly enamel dots from Freckled Fawn.

What do you think of this blue and red color combo?  Not Christmasy enough or just right?

SEA-son's Greetings

More holiday fun to be had here with Sea Santa....

The image is from Waffle Flower and borrowed from my sweet friend Toni (Frankie Helps Craft).  I colored with my Copics and used my Hero Arts Infinity dies to cut it out.  The backdrop uses and Echo Park stencil that looks like mermaid/fish scales, I used a combo of two greens from Ranger Distress Inks to add the color.  The wood chip stars are from Studio Calico.

This is a fun card for those beach lovers in your life.

So darn cute and I LOVE this color combo.  The dies and stamps are from Craftin' Desert Divas.  I colored with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Your Next Stamp.

Don't you just love all the layers and dimension, so fun and cute!  Did I mention cute yet?  If not, let me tell you that bear and it's snowbear are both ADORABLE!
