Happy Thursday! I have some exciting news today! I am on guest designing on the Krafty Chicks Challenge blog.
Woohoo, it is super exciting to be over there working with such a fun team who make fabulous creations! Head on over there to learn more about the challenge. Meanwhile, this month's challenge #451is all about BALLOONS!
Here is my card for this challenge:
Ack! I love this cute card, that puppy is so cute! Here is how I made it:
- I started by stamping and coloring my puppy and the balloons with Copics. I set that fussy cut them out (minus the balloon strings) and set them aside.
- Next, I pulled out a white bit of cardstock and used a Newton's Nook stencil, distress inks and my Trinity Blending Buddy Brush to create the background.
- I stamped the images on top of the background and then mounted my cut images on top using foam tape.
- Next, I stamped my sentiment in the lower left corner.
- I cut out my card base in green paper.
- I added a bit of yellow cardstock onto the green and then I added my white later on top.
- Lastly, I added a few white highlights with my gel pen.
I love this color combo, it is bright and fun! This makes a great masculine card, dog lover card, or just anyone card.
Thank you for visiting today. I hope you will come join us for this week's challenge!
Here are the supplies I used for this card:
Newton's Nook Confetti Stencil
Pink and Main Diggity Dog
