Hi crafty friends! Sadly, this is my last post guest designing with the Krafty Chicks. It has been very fun and I don't want it to end. But, before it does, how about one last fun post. :)
This week we are playing with a sketch borrowed from Mojo Monday:
Here is my creation using that sketch. You might have notice a slight twist. ;)
Yep, I flipped mine over horizontally so the smaller circle is on the left. You might have also noticed I started making Holiday cards.... let it begin! Now that fall is here, I feel like it is OK to make them.
Here is how I made this one:
- I started by stamping out the unicorn and coloring her with my Copics. I wanted to make sure to make it Christmasy, but non-traditional, so I definitely pulled out the pink. When it was done, I fussy cut it out and set it aside.
- Next, I found the DPs I wanted to use that matched. Most of them are from Doodlebug Designs Christmas Town collection.
- I cut the circles using my Hero Arts circle dies.
- On the larger one, I stamped the unicorn again. On the smaller, I stamped the sentiment.
- Next, I due cut the larger pink scalloped square with my Gina Marie Die.
- I cut the strip using my paper cutter and arranged all the layers together.
- I mounted the unicorn on the larger circle stamped version using foam tape.
- Lastly, I added some embellishments from Trinity Stamps Bubblegum Confetti Mix.
Well that's all I have for you today minus the supplies below. I hope you like this card and hope that you will join us for this week's challenge. A big thank you to the team at Krafty Chick's Challenge for having me this month in the Hen House.
