Krafty Chicks- Thank you

Hey friends!  Another week with another fun challenge over at the Krafty Chicks Challenge blog.  I have really been enjoying my GDT stint this month and the fun gals and fun challenge! This week our theme is Thank You Cards.

I enjoyed making this card, I don't use my watercolors enough.  It was also my first time inking up this Waffle Flower set. Here it is:

Here is how I made this:

  • I started by deciding what stamps from my Waffle Flower Little Painters set to use and laying out my stamps in my Misti.
  • Next, I laid my watercolor paper inside and using archival ink, I stamped my images.
  • I pulled my image out and used zigs and a water pen to to color the images.
  • Once it was dry, I ran the colored portion through my die cut machine with my deckle edge die.
  • I added my sentiment by stamping "you fill my day with color" from a SugarPea Designs set.
  • I die cut the thanks in both a foam layer and watercolor paper, I used my zigs to create the rainbow feel.
  • Lastly, I mounted it all on black cardstock.
So what do you think?  A fun card no?  Perfect for a crafty friend. ;)  Also, have you joined any of the challenges yet?  If not, you should, they are so fun!  Head here to link up to this one.

Well, I thank you for visiting me today!
