Happy Monday! I am back on the Whimsy Stamps blog today and so excited! Really love some of the latest releases, they are fantastic. This cute pair from Frosty Wishes stamp set. When I first saw this set and their cut expressions, I was all in!
Here is how I made this card:
- I started by stamping my images on Copic Friendly paper. I spent a good amount of time coloring them just so and added highlights with a gel pen. Then I fussy cut them out.
- I came back in and stamped the sentiment on the sign after I had colored it.
- Next, I picked some DP that I thought would work well with them. This selection is from Simple Stories, I loved the different colored flakes and how they pulled on the colors from the stamps.
- I got out some hillside dies from my stash and used them to cut various bits of white paper. I used my Cool Shadow Copic (BG10- which is also on my snowman) to add a little color to it.
- I mounted the various layers of snowbanks with foam tape.
- Then I slipped my images where I wanted them in the layers.
- Lastly, I added some embellishments to add a little extra sparkle.
This snowman, his face, it just makes me happy. I kinda wanna step into the scene and hang out with him and that cute penguin. They are so happy to see each other!
Here is one last look. I hope you love it as much as I do! A big thank you to Whimsy Stamps for letting me be a guest designer this month. They have such cute products and such a nice team, it has been tons of fun! THANK YOU!
