Checking In

Hi There. I know it has been a while since I have posted anything of substance hasn't it. I have been extremely busy and sick- the cold that won't go away. I have been creating, but I have been doing something on SU!'s My Digital Studio (MDS). I has taken me a while to get the hang of MDS but now I am crusing. I can't tell you what I have been making since it will be a Christmas gift for several family members...they likely won't read this (some of them don't have a computer or internet!!!) but I don't want to chance it. All I can say is that it is amazing to do so much in so little time. I will post a sneak peak on anther day, so be sure to check back.

Since I have been MIA for so long I wanted to give you something to look at. I gathered some of my favorite swaps from the a swap I did in September to show you. I also have a one thing I made- whoa miracle right!- that you might like.

These next four cards are from a swap I did in September featuring Holiday Mini stamp sets.

Card #1- Cindy Starns- I like you berry much!
I love the layout here and the great watercoloring job Cindy did. This card is just so cute and fun. A wonderful card for a child or a sweetheart!

Card #2- Carol Pinkey- Merry Christmas
Carol has used my favorite embossing folder here, Petals a Plenty. This card is very elegant and crisp. Beautiful Carol!

Card #3- Denise Schwarzkoff- Be Merry
I love this little Santa Stamp, you've seen me use it. Even more though, I love all the different elements Denise used here, bits of small paper embelishments and the ribbon and the glitter on the gift in Santa's bag. I also like that she put it on the Soft Suede paper- looks great! Check her out here.

Card #4- Stacey Schafer- Thinking of you
I LOVE this card. I like this color combo, the Autumn Meadows Paper and the Autumn Splendor stamp set. What really gets me though is the way Stacey embossed the leaf with multiple colors, some gold and black, you may not see how it shimmers on the computer screan, but it is so striking! Check out her blog here.

Card #5- Cindy Starns- Trick or Treat
This one is another from Cindy, I received this from her at a recent Seattle Based Stampers Fall Fun Event. I just think those little knot bats are adorable. I never would've thunk it!

Card #6- Me!
This last one is one that I made at our Fall Fun Event. It was a make n' take so I didn't design it, but I sure had fun making it. I love the flocked paper punched into an ornament and the red polka dot ribbon is one of my faves.
OK, thanks for stopping by. Glad to finally have something to share with you!
