Trinity Stamps Turns 1!!!

Hello There!  So excited to have you here to celebrate Trinity Stamps 1st Birthday Celebration!  There is a huge new release, tons of fabulous inspiration and a prize up for grabs.  So buckle up, sit tight and enjoy!

You should have arrived here from the amazing Kathy Racoosin's blog.

I have two cards for you today featuring to fun new sets- Candy Jar and Sweet Senti-mini.

Aren't they fun?!  They are companions to each other.  What could be sweeter for a birthday celebration than jars of candy and sweet treats!  Keep reading for a description of both.

First up is my candy jar shaker card.  The jar from this new set is the perfect size for a 4.25 X 5.5 card.  I stamped the jar on Copic friendly paper and colored it.  I die cut a circle out of the middle of the jar and I added a layer of acetate behind.  I colored some of the goodies that come into the set and put them on the front and then behind it I added shaker elements with the Grandma's Candy Jar embellishments.  I added a tag with some bright sparkly ribbon, the sentiment on the tag is from the Happy Senti-mini set.  In the backdrop I had some fun DP and I used the center die cut for this card.  As you will see, I used the other part of the die cut on my second card.

Next up is my second card.  As I mentioned I used the other part of the die cut here as the frame.  In the middle I stamped the "Sweetest" from the Sweet Senti-mini with versamark and then used my Wow Embossing Powder Oasis blend.  I stamped the other bits of the sentiment around.  Then I came back in with my candy bits from the Candy Jar set, after I colored them with my copics and added white highlights, I popped them up around the card.

** GIVEAWAY DETAILS: One reader will be randomly selected to receive a $20 Trinity Gift Card and Birthday Surprise Gift. Leave a comment on all the blog stops for a chance to win!

Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy the hop! Next up on the blog is Kelly Latevola.  For the full hop listing, stop by the Trinity blog.

The Rabbit Hole Designs- Caffeinated Narwhal

Are you enjoying the new release hop for The Rabbit Hole Designs? I have been having lots of fun and can't wait for you to see today's set- Caffeinated Narwhal and associated cards. Here is a snapshot of the two I made.

These caffeinated critters totally crack me up!

A green narwhal... a little weird?  Maybe, but why not.  I sometimes feel a little ill in the morning before coffee, so that is what inspired this.

To make this I stamped my image and colored it with my Copics.  I used my Scan n' Cut to cut it out and set it aside.  Next I found this blue card base and cut it to side and set it down.  Then I cut out this vellum layer using this background plate die.  i adhered it to the base and added white marks with my gel pen to make them look like bubbles.  The sentiment is from the Perfectly Blended stamp set. Lastly, I added these fun bubble like embellishments.

My next card was one I was working on after a rough day at work.  I was channeling my frustration into this card.  To make it, I started by stamping the image.  I added extra polkadots along this one's back.  I colored everything in with my Copics and cut them out.  You'll notice that I cut out an extra tooth/horn and popped it out.  I also added glitter there and to the backside of the Narwhal. Next, I cut a white base to 4.25X4.25.  I die cut a circle and used the exterior as a template and added distress inks on the inside to make the blue circle.  Then I splattered some white paint and sparkle pen on top.  When it was dry, I stamped the image behind, as I would pop the cut out version out.  I ran the base through my die cutting machine with an embossing folder. I added the Narwhal with foam tape. Lastly, I distressed a few bits of white paper, stamped the sentiments and added them to the card.  The MagicalAF is from Caffeinated Unicorn

The Rabbit Hole Designs- Cattitude

Welcome back to day two of The Rabbit Hole Designs July release hop.  We have another new sets for you today called Cattitude.  Scroll down for the hop list, sales info and PRIZE info.

Here are both cards, fun and funny.  I have a full card view and details below.

This first card makes me smile, I love to imagine the kitty dreaming of a mouse.  I made this by pulling out some cat specific background paper and cut it with my Wonky Stitches die.  Next I added a layer of orange DP from across the middle of the top 3rd.  Next,  I die cut a circle using a circle die.  I put all these layers together on my white card base.  Then I stamped my images, the bubble was hand drawn and the smaller circles are fish air bubbles.  I colored them all with my Copics and cut them out.  I placed them on the scene.  Lastly I stamped and die cut or free cut the sentiment bits and added them to the scene.

This card cracks me up and I know just who to give it to.  I love the bit of snark here. Again, I started with this fun yarn ball DP.  I layered another blue DP layer and this white polkadot acetate on top.  Then I cut them out using this scalloped rectangle die.  I put it all the the white card base.  Next I stamped the cat out and colored it with my Copics and cut it out. I mounted it on the card with dimensional foam tape.  Lastly, I cut this navy paper and used white embossing powder to emboss the sentiment.
