Waddle I do?

Just a quick post today to share this fun card I made.  I finally busted out my MFT umbrella die and wanted to put it upside down with some cute duckies inside.  I used a stencil for the backdrop to indicate rain.  It was fun to experiment with the papers for the umbrella and make those sweet duckies play.

Supplies Used:
Ranger Distress Inks
TPD Stencil
MFT Umbrella die
Sugarpea Designs Quakers Stamps
Momento Ink
Copics

Mallow out!

Having a rough day?  Maybe you just need to (marsh)mallow out!

Let me help you out with that.....

Are you better yet?  I can't imagine this wouldn't cure your blues.  Love this cute bear cup and the sweet marshmallows.  They are just diving into a hot cocoa hot tub like they have no cares in the world.

I used Your Next Stamp's Cup of Happiness set.  I love blending these colors together with the copicx and then finding the Pink Paislee papers to match.  The circle die is from Sugar Pea Designs.  I added Wink of Stella and MME enamel dots to accompany.

Ugly Sweater Party

Ugly sweater parties are all the rage around the holidays these days.  What I like about them is that you can get into them no matter what you celebrate as there are all kinds of UGLY sweaters. ;)

Here are a few that were inspired by actual ugly sweaters worn by some co-workers of mine.

Both feature: Simon Says Stamps Don We Now our Ugly Sweaters and accessories, Lawn Fawn Oh Snap and Ready Set Snow, Echo Park or Memory Box Stencils, Ranger Ink Distress dies, Memento Ink, MME Enamel Dots, and Freckled Fawn Washi tape

Everyone loves a punny sentiment.  The "Oh Snap" cracks me up!  The little bow tie is also a fun touch.

A little Doodlebug paper takes this one up a notch on the dorky scale, which I love.

Gave these cards to the ladies that inspired them. :)

The Card Concept

Hi Friends.  I had time to make a card today and I couldn't resist making a card for the Card Concept Challenge 64.

Knowing I had some Zebra Print Paper, I just couldn't get past that Zebra Plate.

So I cut it using this SU! frame die.  I mounted it over the pink cardstock.  I used a Studio Calico die in gold to cut the sentiment.  once I adhered it I added the "From all of us" in clear embossing powder that is from Neat & Tangled.  I colored the Concord & 9th flowers using my Copics and added the negative leaves from some C&9 dies to finish it off.  I'd call this Clean and Layered.

Wanna win two 6X6 American Crafts paper pads?   All you have to do is go to this post and leave a comment before 1/14.

Sketch Saturday #445

Howdy peeps!  Glad to have you back for another Sketch Saturday!  We have a fun sketch for you this week, lots of fun inspiration by the DT. and a great sponsor in Little Miss Muffett Stamps.

Fun one by Debra right!  Now here is my take:

Squee!  Love that penguin!  So darn cute.  And Coloring him was so very fun!  I enjoyed adding the gold and silver to make it a festive New Years card.  The layer of paper underneath with the bits of confetti was perfect for the party feel.  Instead of a small banner at the bottom I used this large friend die from PTI and topped it off with this sparkly star from Freckled Fawn.

I am guessing you can't resist playing with these cute images and cool sketch, so please join us.  You can start by heading over to Sketch Saturday blog

Before you go, don't forget that I have BLOG CANDY on this post!

THD Challenge 8

Baby it is cold outside!  Not nearly as cold as some places, but we don't often get into the 20s here (Fahrenheit).  So I think you will find this week's The Heart Desires Challenge appropriate and I hope you will join us.

Isn't this inspiration lovely?!

Here is my card for this week:

Supplies used: Altenew-One of a Kind stamp set that I colored using my Copics.  I LOVE BLUE so this was easy for me.  It reminds me of lovely forget me nots... sigh.  I coupled this with  Neat & Tangled- Nice & Neat Hoop Die.  It was fun using the woodgrain for the outside and the white on the inside.  I added my own stitching inside and some little blue sparkly pearl dots. In the background you can see the dimension from the We R Memory Keepers- Geometric Embossing Folder.  Lastly I added the sentiment from the set as well as this lovely Waffle Flower- Awesome Die cut in just the right shade of blue.

Now the DT has really outdone themselves this week, including our fabulous guest designer.  I hope you will head on over to the blog and check out all the amazing creations and then join us!
