Coffee Lovers Hop

Hey there, I am here today to share a few cards for the Fall/Winter Coffee Lover's Hop.  I usually have a card every day for the hop, but I just didn't have time this year.

Today I have two cards for you. The first card features products that are mainly from Trinity Stamps.

To make this I used some various papers to create the cup and foam to create the whip cream from the Boo Brew Die Set.  I mounted this on top of a glitter paper snowflake using the Big Snowflake Cut & Foil Die.  I placed that layer on a two circles, one white and one green, cut using the Embossed Edge Circle Stack Die.  This layer went on top of some paper from Photo Play.  I finished it off with red pearls.  The sentiment on the front is from WPlus 9.

My second card features images from Mama Elephant called Milkshake.  I stamped and colored them using Copics.  I used some Doodlebugs DP in the background.  I also used the Double Stitched Dome from Pink and Main in the background.  The sentiment is from Create a Smile and I used the Large Sentiment Strip to cut it out and then mounted it.

I hope that you like these cards and thanks for visiting.

I also wanted to share here so you could know how I made my card. Here is my card for the hop:

This card features images from Your Next Stamp.  I colored the images using my Copics (E00, E02, E11, E13, E15, C7, C5, C3, C1, B93, B23, RV19, RV17, RV09, RV06, RV04, RV02, RV83).  Then I die cut the oval die from Pink & Main in white.  I stamped the sentiment directly on it it black and then mounted the images with foam.  I mounted this on Doodlebugs Paper on top of which I added a die from Poppy Stamps. Once all the layers were together, I added the twine and put a doodlebug sticker on top.

I hope you like it and will come join us for the hop!

Thanks for visiting!

This card features The Great Outdoor Border Builder Set for the snow.  The paper is form the Holiday Trimmings Paper Pad.  I used the Trinity Slimline Twist and Slide Diet Set for the interactive portion. I for the tree I used the Layered Pine Tree Stencil, with my Blending Buddy and Distress Inks, as well as some glitter paste.  The cute characters are from TLC Stamps called Holiday Fun and colored with my Copics.

I have a second bonus card I made it using a cute Dragon Stamp Set from TLC

This cute card has a baby that swings just a little bit.  I used the slider element to make it happen.  For this card, I stamped the image and colored with Copics.  I used the Slimline Rainbow Builder for the clouds and used a small bit of distress ink to make it yellow.  I used background paper in teal.  I used the Starry Skies Cover Plate on the background and added more distress ink there.  I cut out the letters with white foam using the Graham Cracker Alphabet Die Set for that.  Finally, I added some Star Jam Clay Stars.

Tea Party

Happy Friday Friends.  Trinity Stamps has a new release today and we are having a hop over on Instagram.  Be sure to check it out for your chance to win a prize!  Meanwhile, I wanted to share my card here as well to give you the detail.

My card today features the new Slimline Tea Party Stamp Set.  It is such a fun set to use, whimsical and great for a party.  I stamped it with my Misti and colored it with my Copics (BG10, BG34, BG32, BG13, RV10, RV63, RV21, RV000, R20, G00, V12, YG23, YG11, YG00, Y11, W1, W3, E93).  I then die cut it with the Modern Embossed A7 Layers, I cut the other layers using some colored cardstock, the All Heart Paper Pad, and the Winter Hues Paper Pad. I mounted all the layers together.  I used some blue cardstock to stamp the sentiment and die cut it with the tag from the Mini Slimline Card and Envelope Die Set

It was pretty simple, just a lot of coloring, but it was fun to do with the pastels. It makes such a great party invitation doesn't it?!

I hope you like it and thanks for visiting me today.  Enjoy the new release.

Windows, Doors and Pockets

Hey there!  I know it has been a while since I have posted here.  But today I have a super fun card made to play with the Heffy Doodle June Challenge featuring Windows, Doors and Pockets.  I went for a gate... which counts as a door right?  I hope so!

Here it is, I love this super fun scene.  I used a panel die for the background and used a cloud stencil and distress ink for the background.  I also added a sun and a some clouds.  Then I die cut the fence from the Close the Gate die and added some grey to distress it.  I added some sand banks in the front.  All the images are from the Heffy Doodle You Go Gull and the A Little Shellfish stamp set.  I colored them all with Copics and mounted them on this fabulous background, then mounted that on blue.

Here are a couple more views for you.  I hope you like it. I think it is a pretty fun Birthday Scene.

Thanks for visiting!

Priscilla
Donna
Ericka
Katie < you are here>
Joy
Rachelle
Martha Lucia

I have two projects for you today.  Here is my first:

This one features Joy Clair's Succulent Frame set.  I stamped and colored with my Copics and added a sentiment from the You're A Gem set (I love you).  The "hello" is from P&M Wreath Base Dies, cut in sparkly black foam.  I mounted it all on various DP's from the Hooray Paper Pad and used the Concave Rectangle Dies for the layers in green in pink.

My second card is bright and fun.  I used the JC You're a Gem Stamp set with White Embossing Powder on Black to make all these gems. I could have masked them, but I actually stamped and cut them out. I colored them with colored pencils. Then I die cut a bit of black using P&M's Beautiful Slim Line Dies.  I added stamped a few stars in white around that layer.  Then I added my gems.  Next I used the P&M Thanks Die with various Glitter Papers from both the Spring and Summer Packages.  I cut them apart to make the word a rainbow and mounted it.  Then I added some P&M Sparkle Gems.  all of this mounted on a white base.

PRIZES: There are two prizes, a $25 product give away from Joy Clair valid for clear and digital stamps and a surprise package from Pink & Main worth $25.  Please leave a comment on each stop to be entered to win.  The winners will be announced on May 10th, make sure you stop by to see if you won!

National Bubble Tea Day

Happy Friday and Happy National Bubble Tea Day!  Today, Trinity Stamps and Coffee Loving Cardmakers are coming together for this special day and have some amazing inspiration to share.

Keep reading for prize information, but first, I want to share my creations.

For my first creation I wanted to combine the bubble tea with Oracle Octopus set from Trinity, it just seemed very complimentary.  This one is a mini slimline.

I used the Winter Hues DP and cut it with the Clean and Simple Mini Slimline Panels. Next, I used the Summertime Sips die set and cut it with a opaque vellum.  I used my Blending Buddy with some Pink Ink to color it and cut my straw using basic cardstock.  Then I stamped and colored the Oracle Octopus.  I used the coordinating Oracle Octopus Die to cut it out and made the crystal ball shaker.  I put some boba looking embellishments in the middle and mounted that on top of my cup.  Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Hugs & Squishies Stamp Set and Coordinating Die Set.  I colored it and mounted on my card.

For my next creation, I wanted to mix it up a little bit. I thought it would be fun to stay with the squishies/octopus theme, but also make something different.  Wouldn't it be fun to have a bubble tea themed birthday party!  So I made a treat holder.

I made this one with a little container I had purchased for mini cupcakes.  It is slightly bigger than a mini coffee cup.  I started by cutting some slits in the lid to put a straw through, I had some plastic straws and cut them down to the right size.  Next, I used the Mini Coffee Cup Rainbow Hugs Add On Dies for the strips around the bottom and top (bottom from the rainbow, top from the scalloped die) with some cardstock and the All Heart DP.  Note that the typical size of this die was a bit small for this wider container, so I had to adjust it to be bigger.  I tacked those down.  Next, I stamped the Octopus form the Ocean Reef Builder set and colored it with Copics.  I cut it out and added it to my cup.  Inside my cup I filled it with whoppers which look somewhat like bubble tea and taste good alone. :D  I made a tag and added some twine.

Here they are together, I think they turned out pretty cool!

OK, OK!  Prize info! LOL.  Comment on participating blogs before May 7 at 11:59 pm pacific. The winner will be selected randomly across all participating blogs for a $25 Trinity Gift Card and will be announced on the CLC blog. Good Luck!

Strong Coffee

Hey all, one more post for the coffee hop, and unfortunately it might be my last for this round.  I have been buried at work and not enough time to get this done.  Sigh, that's how the cookie crumbles.  But... my card might bring good tidings for next week, perhaps it is a premonition, perhaps just a bit of hope. ;)

I think you follow me now. :)

this one features several Super Sponsors including Ellen Hutson, Whimsy Stamps and Trinity Stamps.

I used the Catherine Pooler Stamps from Ellen's, colored them with Copics and cut them out.  Next, I used Doodlebugs paper with the Slimline Fancy Frame die from Whimsy.  I coupled it with the Scalloped Slimline Frame from Trinity.  I adhered all the layers, stamped my sentiments and used foam tape to adhere my coffee cups.  Lastly, I added these Java Stop Embellishments, also from Trinity.

Three great super sponsors and one great Coffee Hop.

Hope you are having fun, I sure am!
