Tea Party- Miss Ink

Happy Sunday.  I am definitely feeling a bit mad from the quarantine, lol.  But still grateful to be home and safe.

If you haven't checked out the new Miss Ink release yet you should, it is super fun!  I have another card today featuring the new Tea Party Set coupled with the Pinata Party Set.

This images were stamped on Copic friendly paper.  I colored them and cut them out.  Then I die cut this black striped panel.  I mounted it on the white base.  Then I added the sentiment on the purple paper to pull out the colors in the scene.  I mounted everything using foam tape.

I think the Pinata Party items make the perfect setting for this tea party.

This post is short and sweet today.

Tweedle Dee & Dum- Miss Ink

Happy Saturday!  Are you ready for it?  The new Miss Ink Stamps release is here!

I have really enjoyed joining them for this release and playing with these fab new goodies.  Today I am featuring a card using the new Dee & Dum stamp set.

This set is just so very cute and I love it.  It was so fun to make this card, and pretty simple too.  I started by stamping Dee and Dum with black in on Copic friendly cardstock.  Then I colored it using my markers.  There are dies, but I cut these guys out.  I added some highlights and set them aside. Then i used Miss Ink's Backgammon Stencil with two different Distress Inks and my Blending Buddy. Then I mounted my image with foam and stamped and cut the sentiment and used more distress over the top.

I truly adore them, even more than the originals from the movie. Here is one more shot for you.

Head over to Miss Ink to check out the brand new goodies!

Painting the Roses Red- Miss Ink Sneak

How is everyone holding up during these crazy times?  Well I hope everyone is doing OK!  Anyone feel like they've fallen down a rabbit hole?  I sure do!

But.... all that makes this makes new release from Miss Ink Stamps the perfect theme. Hint, rabbit hole... and it gives us something to do (get crafty!) and might help us regain our composure.

Today I am featuring a card using two new sets- Painting the Roses and Queen's Castle

You should know the drill when approaching a castle, "Ye who enter's here, does so at their own risk!"  Also, as you enter, be aware of the wet paint....

So here is the front of my gate fold card, I made a drawbridge door, by hand with paper from Doodlebugs, traced a shape and put paper on both sides. I added my own strips of metal and rivets along the front.  And standing guard is a red heart card blocking intruders from entering.

Open it up and here is a sneak of what is inside........

The troops are very busy, painting the roses red in front of the Queen's ornate castle.  So many fun images in these stamp sets.  Colored with Copics they look so great and the highlights from the white gel pen.  I also love them paired with the same doodlebugs paper.  There isn't room for other colors here!

Here is a close up of the sides:

I love the details and the pain cans.  Also, the castle is beautiful.

That cart full of roses is fantastic isn't it?

Well this is just a sneak peek day.  Head to Instagram for more Miss Ink sneaks and a chance to win some prizes!

How's it Goating?

Welcome to Thursday friends. Today's post is about checking in and seeing how it is goating or going. I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy as we go through interesting times around the world. If you want to share anything about your circumstances, feel free to do so below in the comments.

And... as I check in with you, perhaps this card put a smile on your face.

I don't know what I love more the goat or the chicks!  Here is how I made it:

I stamped the images from Miss Ink on white Copic friendly paper.  Then I colored them with my Copics.  I cut them out using my Scan N Cut.  Then I took a bit of green DP and die cut some grass.  Next I took some DP and die cut it  using a Hello Bluebird.  I mounted it on the white with the grass behind.  I added a few polka dots onto the white.  I stamped part of the sentiment on the white and the other part on these green die cut banners.  I added my critters using glue and foam tape.

What do you think?  Pretty cute right?

Heffy Doodle and Trinity Stamps Collaboration Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to the Heffy Doodle and Trinity Stamps Collaboration Blog Hop! Our design teams have come together to share some amazing inspiration featuring Heffy Doodle and Trinity stamps products, and there is a prize up for grabs, too!

So let's get to these fun cards shall we?!

This first card is just soooo cute.  I mean, tooth fairies and rainbows paired with Slimline, what's not to love?

For this one, I stamped and colored the darling images from Heffy Doodles' Absotoothly Awesome set.  I colored them with my Copics and cut them out.  I stamped the sentiment and used black embossing powder and cut that out also.  Next I used the Trinity Stitched Card Panels and Windows Dies to set the stage.  I used Pebbles paper with this darling rainbows and red cardstock.  I matched my Copics to the paper.  Hard to see, but I added a little sparkle pen to the wings and tooth.

Here are a few close up shots:

I like to keep diversity in mind when making my cards, so every little boy and girl can see themselves in them.

My second card goes with the first.  It uses the same collection of products, Absotoothly Awesome and it uses the Trinity Frame and Fold Die

This time I went with a little redhead with freckles- she is adorable with that fire red hair!  I added a bit of light blue paper to pull on the blue in the paper.  The "you" is cut in foam, both white and sparkly black, from the same Frame and Fold die set.

I mean, seriously- EEP! I love these sweet fairies and this combo makes me so happy.

For my next card, I used a Heffy die and Trinity Stamps:

For this card, I started by pulling out some pink cardstock and die cut the Heffy Doodle Quilted Heart Background Die. This die is just so sweet. I placed red cardstock behind it. On the pink layer I stamped the Trinity Not Alone stamp. I colored the leaves directly on the pink with Copics. I also stamped this on white and colored the not alone and not ever portions, then cut them out and mounted them on the base with foam tape. At that point, I decided I needed a little extra something, so I added a few flowers from the Trinity Spring Fling Floral, stamped on white, colored with Copics and cut out.

I feel like this card is a great pick me up card for a friend.

What? Prizes, you want to know about those? Wink! Well.... Trinity Stamps and Heffy Doodle will respectively be giving away a 25$ and a 25£ vouchers to their stores! Winner will be chosen randomly and announced on Tuesday, March 24th  on the Heffy Doodle and Trinity Stamps Blogs blogs. What generous companies!

And here is the hop line up. Be sure to check out all the amazing stops and projects, trust me, they are AMAZING!
