Sunday Stamps- Aloha

Sunday Stamps is here again.  This week we are playing with a sketch:

You know what I love about sketches?!  YOu can flip them, switch them and make them your own.  For example, I've done a bit of both with my card.

So fun to mix it up!  I also really enjoyed using this Avery Elle set Tweet Tweet.  I love playing with the various colors you can make the birdies.  If I am feeling down at all, this just cheers me right up!    The dies are from Sugar Pea Designs (Circle) and Studio Calico (Banner).

I hope you'll come over to Sunday Stamps and join us for this fun sketch?!

TPD Friday! I spy!

OK, here is the deal, I am soooooo over moving and unpacking!  The worst part is I got stamps for my birthday in June that I haven't been able to use yet.  Hopefully by the end of this weekend I will have a surface to start crafting on again!

Meanwhile, enough whining eh?  I have a fun card to share with you today featuring Two Paper Divas.

Now let's play a fun version of I spy!  First I spy a new TPD release, can you guess which one it is?  It is All About Borders 2.  Such a fun and versatile set!  Next you'll spy another TPD set that is sure to make you smile. :)  Be the Reason is such an uplifting set!  I added some DP, a Waffle Flowers Die and some twine for fun.

I hope you enjoyed today's game of I spy and enjoy this card.  Be sure to check out TPD's stamps and blog for more inspiration!

Crafting Withdrawls! TPD to the Rescue!

Ack, we've been moving and I haven't crafted in over a week!  It is making me feel sick, very sick indeed....

Meanwhile, I finally have internet and I have some thngs that were already in works I can share.  This is from Two Paper Divas latest release.  My fave set of the bunch - Friends & Flowers (and my fave card too- that ought'ta cheer me up right?!).

I lvoe the colors of this card, bold and bright.  I masked and stamped the flowers and the colored and they were perfect with this little frame die cut from Waffle Flower.  The added gold twine is a nice touch.  This one goes out to all my friends who add sunshine in my life.  You know who you are, thank you!

Head on over to the TPD blog to see what's cookin!

TPD Wednesday- You've got mail!

Happy Wednesday my fine friends!  I hope you are enjoying this week. :)

Today I wanted to share a Two Paper Divas card with you featuring the new set Sending a Little Note!

Isn't this the cutest?!  Paired with the gnome paper...it is too cute for words!

So here is what I did: I stamped and colored with Copics and fussy cut the elements.  I cut into the top of the mailbox so I could have a letter sticking out the top.  Then I added my grass  by Lawn Fawn die, and scattered the letters so they would stick out.  My intent was to give the appearance that the mailbox is overflowing with letters and love.  The paper is from Pebbles Home Grown Collection.  I added the twine as a final touch.

I think this is perfect to send to someone in a new home.  I have a friend who just moved, so may send it to her.

I am also moving this weekend into a new home with my family.  Wish me luck and thank you for visiting today.

PS- It's DT Wednesday over at the TPD blog- be sure to visit!

Did you know Cut it Up is celebrating their 100th Challenge today?!  So fun and exciting right?! There are sponsors and prizes, all kinds of fun to be had.  And the theme... Anything Goes!

Here is my creation for this Centennial Challenge:

These SU Butterflies and dies are sooooo pretty aren't they?  I love how the stamps layer together, any color combo is game.  Then it is super easy to cut it out with the coordinating die!  I also added this wreath die behind (I have to admit, I can't remember who makes this- eek).  I added some sequins, lots of pretty DP and this gold thread for a little texture.

So, your turn, come join us and win some fab stuff!

Some friendly reminders about our challenges:
Project must follow the theme of the challenge
AND include a die-cut

From the Farm- Paper Smooches

Howdy!  Ya'll ready for the weekend?!  I am!

Just wanted to share this fun and funky card I made using the Paper Smooches Green Acres set.  I made this for my boss who was leaving the company.  She is a farm girl and is always telling us stories about her "rouge chickens."  Cracks me up.

This card features a few Lawn Fawn Dies and Summer Sun DP from Fancy Pants.  But the stars of the show is obviously the Paper Smooches Green Acres and the Summer Sampler sentiment set.  I colored with my Copics and then fussy cut them out.

  8. Most importantly, have fun!!!!
Now I can share what I made for the challenge.  I drew my inspiration from the flowers, colors and sketch!  A THREE-FER!

My main inspiration was the Floral and Flutter dies.  Perfect for this challenge.  They were die cut in white and color added with Copics.  I traced the shaped and cut out a back layer so the flowers would stand out more.  I used various leafy dies to add all the other elements.  The Authentique paper was the perfect backdrop.  I added the glitter tape as an accent and the sentiment from Hero Arts Hello Gorgeous

Supplies Used:
Stamps- Hello Gorgeous

Have you stopped by the THD blog yet?  You should!!! :)

TPD Wednesday- Friends and Flowers

Have you seen the new Two Paper Divas July release?

Well if not you should, because it is Fun!

Here is one of my creations for this new release:

I used the new Friends and Flowers set.  It was so fun to create this card and put the flower pot in the little frame.  Isn't it cute!?! I especially like the colors, the yellow with the Caribbean blue, dreamy combo.

Sunday Stamps- Thank You

Happy Sunday!   Hope you will join us for this week's Sunday Stamps Challenge, here is the fun sketch!

Now we just got back from a trip to Yellowstone with some family, so I thought it appropriate to make a thank you card that featured some of the beautiful wildlife we say while on the trip.

This card features some fabulous DP from MME Market Street collection. I stamped and embossed the deer from the no longer (sad) Fresh Squeezed Stamps.  The sentiment is from Altnew, embossed in solid gold rather than shimmery.  I love how the gold and the embelishments adds a little sophistication.

Here are a few snapshots from our trip.

Birthday Buddies- Happy Birthday Toni!

Gotta love all those folks love in June or July, they are extra super cool! ;)

There is a special birthday girl today, and that is TONI!  Happy Birthday!

Sweet and seriously funnyToni is fixated with the mermaids out there right now, so I thought this would be a fitting card for her.

I used Doodlebug Designs cute paper as the perfect backdrop for this scene.  I added the mermaids from Lawn Fawn's Mermaid for you stamp set.  I truly enjoyed coloring everything, especially the tails and hair.  I added some extras from other LF sets Life is Good and You Make Life Fun.

OK now here is the hop list, be sure to stop by all and then wish Miss Toni a Happy Birthday!

Katie: YOU ARE HERE!

Have the best birthday ever Toni!
