The Rabbit Hole Designs May release hop- Day 2

It is day two of The Rabbit Hole Designs May Release Blog hop!  We have more fun and more prizes for you today.  Today we are featuring Sassy Sentiments and Caffeinated Shark stamp sets.

This first card cracks me up.  It features Caffeinated Shark, that I colored using my Copics and highlights with my white gel pen.  I cut him out and then set it aside.  I pulled out this journal card and added the chemical compound stamp in red.  I thought it was so funny to make the shark's blood type caffeine (that part of the sentiment is from the Perfectly Blended set).  I used a stencil to outline the fish on the cup and then colored it in.  The enamel dots were the finishing touch.

Card two also features Caffeinated Shark.  Again, I stamped and colored the shark with Copics and set him aside.  I created the background by using my Lindy's Magicals.  Once that was dry and mounted I die cut the "YOU" from Avery Elle in a matching color and put the #jawsome on top.  I added the waves, a die cut from Mama Elephant and added highlights from my gel pen.

Bubble Tea Day- CLC and Trinity Hop

Happy National Bubble Tea Day!!!!

I hope you are enjoying the CLC and Trinity Collaboration hop so far.  We have a lot more fun in store for you so don't stop just yet.  You should have arrived here from Amy Brown's blog, so much fun!

I have two creations for you today:

My first creation is a shaker card.  On the base I used diff sized circles to create the bokeh effect with different colors.  I like that they also look like bubbles.  :)  I die cut that panel with this star die (Avery Elle) to create windows.  In the bottom window, I added two little bubble tea cups from the Coffee With Character set.  I used Trinity's Black Eyed Beads for the Boba in the cups and for my shaker element.  Lastly, I added the sentiment from Caffeinated Sentiments.  This is the perfect card for a bubble tea lover, just tuck a little gift card inside.

My second creation is a gift of some extra large straws, perfect for bubble tea.  There are a few special things about this creation.... #1 you might see some brand new product from Trinity's Spring Fling Release coming up on 5/1 :) #2- this tag is modeled after someone else participating in this hop, a sweet, dark haired girl who likes coffee and bubble tea.

So to make this tag, I used the new die (ahem) cut in different colors to create the layers of my rainbow, then added the cloud.  I hung the rainbow off of the edge to make room for the sweet girl from Seasonal Sweetheart.  I colored her with Copics, die cut her and placed her in the scene.  I added the cup from the set, colored to look like bubble tea and added the boba with my black felt pen.  Lastly, I stamped the sentiment from the Caffeinated Sentiments set.  It is cute with the packaged rainbow paper.

Your next stop is the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog.

PS- don't forget you have an opportunity to win a prize by commenting on all blogs along the way.  One reader will be randomly selected to receive a $25 Trinity Gift Card. Leave your comments on all of the participating blogs by Wednesday, May 8th at 11:59pm Pacific, then look for the winner announcement on the CLC blog the following week.

Thank you for visiting today!

The Rabbit Hole Designs May release hop- Day 1

Happy Monday!  Today is Day 1 of the May Release for The Rabbit Hole Designs and we have a fun blog hop in store for you.   Today we are sharing two new stamps sets, Perfectly Blended and Caffeinated Rabbit.

My first card features Perfectly Blended.  Such a fun set and so many options of things to make.  Here is what I did.  I started by using an embossing folder on the backdrop and covered it using distress ink.  Then I used this die cut cup from Fun Stampers Journey and added green to it to make it look like a Matcha Tea Frappuccino.  I stamped the sentiment on bright pink, then I added the striped straw to draw out that pink.  Lastly, I added the hearts, because the really emphasize the amazing sentiment, "I love you very Matcha."

Next up is the funny Caffeinated Bunny and more sentiments from Perfectly Blended.  This bunny, with the bright paper behind, makes me think of the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, but this one is grumpy!  I stamped the bunny, colored with Copics, die cut and set him aside.  Next I die cut out this scalloped oval from Avery Elle.  Instead of using the positive image, I used the negative.  I placed this bright paper behind.  I added the strip of green and stamped the sentiment (again, Par-Tea reminds me of Alice in Wonderland).  Then I added the grumpy rabbit to the scene and wahlah!

CLC and Honey Bee Stamps

Happy National Tea Day!  Coffee Loving Cardmaker's and Honey Bee Stamps are collaborating to have a fun blog hop that you are sure to enjoy!  We have prizes of course, but I will share that for later on in the post. ;)

You should have arrived here from the amazing Helen Gullett's blog.

I have two cards for you today both featuring Tea Time stamps and dies and Perfect Blend Stamps and Dies.  Here is card #1-

For this card, I started with a kraft background.  Then I die cut this blueprint type die in this bright and fun colored paper.  I popped out 3 of the 4 squares and left the 4th and placed it on the craft paper.  I set it aside and then I die cut the Tea word from a few different greens and put them together.  In the center rectangle I placed the die cut word Tea there then stamped the remainder of the sentiment in brown.  Next I stamped and colored the images using my Copics and then die cut them and placed them on my card.

For card two, I used my Twisted Citrus distress inks, blending brushes and a stencil to create the light green spotted background. I stamped and colored the images with my Copics, die cut them and placed them on the card. I loved stacking them together and stamping the sentiment below. The strawberry is from the Mae the Mouse set. You'll notice that I used twine to create the string for the tea bag.   Lastly, I added a small flag in the upper left corner using some yellow stripped DP.  I seem to have a thing for yellow at the moment. 💛

Hope you enjoyed your visit here!  Next up on the hop is the fantabulous Dana Warren's blog!

Don't forget, there are prizes.  Winners will be picked from across all participating blogs, the more you comment, the more chances to win....
