For Daddy

Good morning friends.  I wanted to share a fun card with you today.

What I love about this card is the mismatch of the wood veneer people, or "potty people" as my friend Amy calls them. :)  I imagine this as my husband and my daughter holding hands, giggling and having fun.  The stars are evidence of that!

The shape is a Top Dog Die Signature Antique Die shape.  The same one I used to make this basket here. (PSST- I am doing a tutorial on this basket tomorrow/thursday this week, come back and check it out!) The paper is from Fancy Pants with a bit of yellow washi along the top.  I stamped the portion of the sentiment from Neat and Tangled and then used my Lawn Fawn die cuts for the letters.  The little stars, which are cut from cork are also Lawn Fawn.  I think the colors, the cork and the smudging around the edge make this a great guy card.  Perfect for Daddy's birthday or Father's Day.

Oh I love this, it's great. Actually it reminds me of my parents, he's tall and my Mum was a shorty. Thanks for joining us for the challenge at A Sprinkle of Imagination this time.
