Faux Metal Tag

You probably saw the post that I have a class coming up this weekend.  We will be working on making faux things- faux metal tags, faux watercolors, faux rik rak, etc...  you can visit the post here for more information.  So I thought it only prudent to have a sample for what I was talking about.  This is a card I made today using the faux metal technique.  It is fun and fairly easy.  The layout for the card came from today's Mojo Monday sketch 138... well more or less anyway. 

 

Here is the fun little card I came up with.  It feels so whimsical and fun to me.  What do you think?
