Whimsy Stamps Mini Release

Hey there!  I have a fun card for you this evening.  It is part of the brand new mini release from Whimsy Stamps.

 I love this card, especially the sentiment!

Doncha think it is pretty awesome and inspiring?  I also love the bright fun colors and southwest feel.

Here is how I made it:

• I started by stamping the image from the Cute Cacti set on Copic friendly paper and coloring it with my Copics (YR15, YR68, R02, R35, R14, Y26, Y13, Y15. YG16, YG67, W03. W0, E44).  Then I cut it out and set it aside. 
• Next, I used the Tombstone Tag die set to create a tag, but I cut off the edge by using the tag die cut again.  On that die I stamped the sentiment and the the cacti stamp again.  I then mounted the colored image on top using foam tape.  Again, I set this aside.
• Then, I cut a bit of the DP from the Festive Desert Paper Pack to 4 X 5.25 and mounted on a white base. 
• Next, I ran a strip of yellow cardstock through with the Festive Edger Die set. and mounted that on the base and DP.  
• I added my white square back in mounting it with more foam tape. 

Here is a close up with the sentiment and the Cacti.  I love that bloom on top.
